Robot Base-Themed Bar Opens in Nishi-Ikebukuro in November

"Eizo Izakaya Robo Kichi" uses in-house smart phone app to allow patrons to enjoy classic mecha scenes

In November of 2017, a new pub / eatery is opening in Nishi-Ikebukuro that seeks to give patrons the experience of work-weary mecha pilots meeting at a secret base to knock back a few drinks and share war stories. The establishment is called Eizo Izakaya Robo Kichi ("Mind's Eye Image Tavern Robo Base"), and it features food, drinks, and decorations designed to call to mind the hot-blooded robot battles of yore.

Additionally, the eatery offers an in-store app called BANDAI CHANNEL TOUCH, which allows patrons to sample 18 classic mecha series (such as Mobile Suit Gundam, Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Fang of the Sun Dougram, and more) on their smart phones and tablets while they dine. Eizo Izakaya Robo Kichi will also sell robot-themed character goods, such as mini plastic model kits.

Eizo Izakaya Robo Kichi opens on November 01, 2017, and is located on the 3rd floor of the 1 Chome 10-15 building in Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward, Tokyo, Japan. Its hours of operation are from 4:00 PM - 12:00AM.
