When NIS America received a bunch of negative feedback on the initial localization of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA, they took it to heart. Localization revisions were promised, and the PC version was delayed until they could be properly implemented. The localization revisions will be implemented across PS4, PS Vita, and PC simultaneously. Changes include improvements to the script, graphical text adjustments, and re-recorded audio.
