The official website for the upcoming anime feature film Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple has posted a 90-second full trailer featuring its theme song "Deadly Drive" performed by two-member rock unit GRANRODEO. The anime's official Twitter says it is a Valentine's Day gift to fans with their gratitude.
The clip is produced by Tokyo-based company 10GAUGE that has worked on PVs for the previous Bungo Stray Dogs anime and others, such as My Hero Academia, Blood Blockade Battlefront, Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, and Makoto Shinkai's mega hit film Your Name.
The Bungo Stray Dog manga created by Kafka Asagiri (story) and Sango Harukawa (art) was previously adapted into a two-season TV anime in 2016. The all-new story of the film is written with full cooperation with the original manga story writer Asagiri.
It begins with over 500 mysterious suicide cases by power users around the world. By request from
the Special Ability Department at The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the members of the Armed Detective
Agency begin their investigation to find Tatsuhiko Shibusawa, who is suspected be involved in the cases.
But at the same time, Osamu Dazai suddenly disappears.
Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple will open in 74 theaters across Japan on March 3.
GRANRODEO previously performed "TRASH CANDY," the OP song for the first season of the TV anime.
The CD singles of the film's theme song "Deadly Drive" is set to be released as their 28th single on
"Deadly Drive" short NV
