The second cour of Hozuki's Coolheadedness 2 (known in Japan as Hozuki no Reitetsu) is returning to Japanese TV in April of 2018 for another round of infernal office comedy, and now the official Japanese broadcast schedule and the opening theme performers have been revealed. Hozuki's Coolheadedness 2 will broadcast as follows:
(Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 25:00 time slot on Saturday night is actually at 1:00 AM JST on Sunday morning.)
Additionally, the opening theme of the 2nd cour of Hozuki's Coolheadedness 2 is entitled "Haikei, Jigoku yori" ("To Whom It May Concern, From Hell"). The song will be performed in-character by YOUR SONG IS GOOD, a voice unit composed of Hozuki (CV: Hiroki Yasumoto ), King Enma (CV: Takashi Nagasako), Shiro (CV: Yumiko Kobayashi), Kakisuke (CV: Hiroki Gotō), Rurio (CV: Takashi Matsuyama), Zashiki-warashi Ichiko (CV: Satomi Satō), Niko (CV: Yui Ogura), and Karashi (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki).
"Haikei, Jigoku yori" will be released as a single in Japan on April 25, 2018.
The original Hozuki's Coolheadedness manga by Natsumi Eguchi is serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Morning seinen manga magazine, and an English language version is also digitally distributed by Kodansha Comics. Hozuki's Coolheadedness 2 is directed by Hiroyuki Yoneda and feartures animation by Studio Deen.
