Watch How Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra Performs in "Girls und Panzer der Film Cinematic Concert"

The smash-hit anime franchise's first feature film earned an impressive 2.5 billion yen

To promote the upcoming additional concerts in Osaka and Kanagawa next month, Bandai Visual has posted a 10-minute digest video from the first "Girls und Panzer der Film Cinematic Concert" held at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on July 9, 2017.

 

The event screened the 2015 film accompanied by a live performance of Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, under the name "Tokyo PhilGuP Orchestra." The two singers from the franchise, Choucho sang the film's theme song "piece of youth," and Sayaka Sasaki also appeared as a secret guest to perform "Grand symphony," the theme song for the ongoing OVA series Girls und Panzer das Finale.

 

With the two singers again, the Osaka concert is scheduled to be held at GranCube Osaka Main Hall on April 8, then the Kanagawa one will follow at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on April 22.

On this coming Sunday, March 18, "Girls und Panzer der Film Cinematic Concert" is coming to Oarai

Cultural Center in Ibaraki Prefecture, where the main story of the anime has taken place, but the tickets

are already sold out.
