Readers of the online manga publication Shonen Jump+ get an extra weekly dose of DARLING in the FRANXX. "Comicalized" by Black Cat artist Kentaro Yabuki, the manga follows the hit Trigger series. And readers get an extra bonus this week when real life intersects with the world of the show.
The new collaborative art features heroine Zero Two alongside Mika Nakashima, the singer of the show's theme, "Kiss of Death." Fans of the singer may recognize Nakashima decked out as she was for the song's cover and music video: in a white tank top, with a pair of matching white horns.
The first and most recent two issues of the DARLING in the FRANXX manga are free to read on the Shonen Jump+ website; archives are available with a subscription.
