The first world premiere screening will be held in Tokyo on September 15

Aniplex announced today on September 10 that Sword Art Online: Alicization, the upcoming third TV anime adaptation of Reki Kawahara's sci-fi adventure light novel series Sword Art Online, is set to premiere on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, BS11, and MBS on October 6, 2018. The original novel author Kawahara says on Twitter, "The one-hour first episode special will premiere at

24:00 on October 6 (Sat)! Since it is four-cour, it is going to be a very long series, but I would be glad if

you can enjoy it till the end! I will also do my best...!"

As reported, the new season's world premiere screenings will be held in seven countries in the world: Japan,

USA, Australia, France, Germany, Russia, and Korea. The Japan premiere will be held at Tokyo International

Forum Hall C twice at 12:00 and 15:30 on September 15, 2018 (JST).
