    This is something Refreshing!
Synopsis: The 35th Test Platoon of Antimagic academy, they're one of squads enrolled at academy specializing in raising the witch hunters, whose job is to find, neutralize any magical threats!

Unfortunately they're a group of failures nicknamed "Small Fry Platoon," a platoon formed from bunch of self-centered people who can't cooperate and have personality problems.

    Will they manage ...

    The best Cliche this season
Of course it's a trope storyline that's been beaten to death. All of these shows are variations of Blade Dance of the Elementals which is actually a rip off of- [insert whatever anime you want name here, you know, the one with the harem of Tsunderes].

Be that as it may, One should definitely watch the first two episodes to see if it provides you the je ne sais quoi you need to keep ...

Cliched but with a Strong Foundation
EDIT: After continuing further into the anime I've removed a star as the harem trope has continued to get worse. Love the characters and character development but goddamn it could do without all the girls fawning over the main character.

    -----------------------------------------------

I severely dislike the cliched harem trope in anime. It's distracting, annoying and is almost never done ...

First ep is weak, but give it a chance
Ok, I'll admit the first ep was weak, and I rolled my eyes at the seemingly obligatory "male mc trips, lands on female mc with one hand on boob" cliche, the wtf moment when out of nowhere and for no reason to do with the plot they threw in the "mc walks in on a female in some kind of vaguely naughty situation" cliche, but there was something about this anime that kept me watching to the second ep ...

Don't judge this on the first episode.
This is the show that perfectly justifies why a lot of people have a three episode rule to decide on whether or not to continue watching a series.

The first episode of this show is trash. It's a cliche-ridden mess filled with accidental boob grabs and other nonsense. If it wasn't for needing the character introductions to decide who's who in the show, I'd recommend skipping that episode ...

Another example of a cool idea, poorly done.
There is a lot of things I like about this show. But for everything I like, there is something I don't. I really would have liked to get this a 2.5/5.

Like I said in the title of this review, this is a really cool idea. The setting is a modern world that still has an inquisition and witches. Witch hunters, magic, modern and futuristic weapons all kinda mix together for a fun concept. The cast ...

    Highly predictable, pacing was strange...
Nearly all the character development and plot was built on cliches and tropes, so the whole series was highly predictable.

Not a lot of tension was developed, so the resolution felt thin and weak.

Pacing was very strange--there would be long stretches of useless exposition followed by sudden and jarring jumps ahead. Near the end, several brand new enemy characters suddenly showed up, as if ...

    Action/Ecchi Anime and it's good!
Not going to drown anyone here with a long review:

The shows fun to watch. Period. And do watch up until at least episode 3 to make the decision for yourself. The anime's theme isn't original; however, what show today is completely mind-numbingly awesome (is that word?)/original/gripping/never seen ANY story like this before/must go tell the world? Rhetorical....True there are SOME.

    In ...

Potential to be one of the best anime of the Fall 2015 season~
Episode 1 was okay but Episode 2 was great! There were a lot of action and we also learned about Ouka's tragic past. The villain named "Haunted" seems interesting too. There seems to be a dark undertone to this series that the other LN-based battle harems this season don't have.
Music is nice (based A-Bee with that electronic OST). Animation is decent (not OPM level) but it looks good. Character ...

    Sick of lousy female characters
Wasn't as impressed as most people. The art is beautiful but story line is overused; if you've been a long time anime fan you'll understand. If you're a fan of the cliche harem trope then you'll probably enjoy it. The female characters by my standards are weak in terms of character content - they are flat and typical of that in a harem. The female characters care more about comparing breast size ...
