    Book lovers delight!
Very sweet and likable characters. Each episode isn't about a books content but uses the book as it's conflict such as if it's stolen, rare, lost, a clue, etc. The girl has deductive abilities like that of Sherlock Holmes!

Because of one episode, I actually bought a rare book which I now treasure very dearly. It's made me appreciate books more and have started reading again.

    (I bought 'The ...

    Great Show Great Drama
This show is what I wish all dramas were like. Each episode is different but held together by a central theme. I especially like the exploration of human relationships and how they are tied to the books, which the episodes are based around. (To many times drama episodes seem to repeat the same situation again and again and you can skip most of them and just watch the last one and still get the ...

A cute mystery show worth watching
This show is one of the few mysteries that I will watch again and again. The characters were fleshed out really well, and they developed as the show went on. They developed so much I actually wish for a second season.

I wish to see more of Fujinami. This character was very annoying but interesting at times. A completely nosy person who just has to know everything. The reason I found this ...

    You have to love it!
it's about books. good books. but they are old. not too old. cool people love these books. and all of those books have a story. people laugh, people wine. all these feelings, they connect with those books. to find out those stories, that's the mystery. the solution are those feeling that people connect with those books. it's good. no. it's great.

if you think "i hate those shitty doramas", ...

A well crafted and beautiful show
A show about people working in a book store and about books oh and one of the characters has mad detective skills, can't be that good can it.
Oh yes it is, i though the same but once i started watching i was hooked.

The characters are well crafted and well defined, they are fleshed out enough to know they premise but enough kept hidden to keep their mystery.

The music fits well into the ...

    Excellent Literary/Detective Drama
If you are a book lover and with a mystery/detective flair like the anime series Hyouka or the book series Bungaku Shoujo ("Book Girl and the..." books), you're going to love this series. It's super fun! The characters are engaging and each seems to have an arc to themselves, and the cinematography is dramatic. What more can you ask for?

Like a warm cup of coffe
This is the perfect show to watch while snuggling under a blanket with a warm cup of tea or coffee. To be perfectly honest there's nothing mind blowing about this show, but if every show was like that it would be pretty exhausting to watch television.

The characters are endearing, the two leads have a perfectly adorable relationship, the cinematography is surprisingly good, and the ...

    Detective stories with sweet characters
I got attached to this show instantly just from its poster!
And then when I knew it is a detective series, I got attached more!
And when I knew it is about books, I got attached more and more!
What is amazing in this show is its beautiful 3 dimensions characters, the genius book worm girl, the boy who can't read but desperately wants to, the old man who has a dramatic background but has found ...

    Good, but not perfect
Antiquarian Bookshop Biblia's Case Files is a lightweight mystery/detective drama that immediately brings Hyouka to the mind.

Show resolves around solving mysteries tied to the books and their stories, but not stories in them, them but about them. Main protagonist Shioriko Shinokawa is an owner of title bookshop, so she, her sidekick Goura and family friend Shida are always in the ...

My first review and a story worth watching
I don't normally care for drama shows, but this one caught my attention, perhaps because I really love to read and I like mysteries. To be honest, it is the first drama I've watched on Crunchyroll. I was impressed with the character interactions, the story, and the music. Character development was great, and the relationships were realistic. I like a show that can make me laugh and cry. I wouldn't ...
