    Mini Series For The Movie
    UPDATE
This short anime was produced as an advertisement for the upcoming Ao Oni film in 2017. So don't expect anything really riveting in its plot, seems like this show is just for fun and to sell merch.

I'd figure you can guess what Ao Oni is going to be all about just by looking at the cover and synopsis.

    Weird.

If you are unfamiliar with Ao Oni, it was originally a 2009 free ...

    It's gruesomely cute
This is a short series that might only appeal to a niche audience, those that have played the Korean RPG Maker Horror game, Ao Oni (Blue Demon), and those who enjoy short dumb B-Horror skits. The shorts involve the cast of four main characters (based off of the characters from the game, but with the visual look of their manga counterparts (yes, Ao Oni had a manga) but excluding the manga exclusive ...

Short dumb fun for those who liked the Game.
Ao Oni The Blue Monster is a series of promotional comedy shorts for the Ao Oni franchise, based on the classic RPGMaker Horror game.
These series has a comedic tone in contrast the rest of the series, though the comedy can be somewhat dark, but it does handle it well despite the tonal shift.
The humor makes clever use of references to the source material. While it is funny, it also will be lost ...

    Funny short episodes
Though this anime follows no real story (it seems to pretty much just use the characters from the aooni game) it is still a series I get great enjoyment out of. The episodes are great for a quick laugh and I hope they continue to make these. As long as they keep putting them out, I will keep watching them.

A must see, feel good tale!
Ao Oni tells the heart warming story of Ao Oni and his 4 friends. What starts out as an investigation of an urban legend turns into a series of zany misadventures. Will they make it out alive? Who cares? I can think of worse ways to spend 39 minutes for the series and an hour for the movie.

The Dumbest Thing Ever. And Also the Best!
I really loved watching this short little anime! It is perfect for those who enjoyed the Ao Oni videogame (especially if you watched you-tubers play it and fail), and for those who love both horror and comedy! It's got a really strange, gruesome and blunt sense of humor, but it is so much fun! The quirky animation style is a nice change of pace, and it incorporates quite a bit of material from the ...

  • Purple Monster Adventures
Just a random show about the purple monster that every YouTube gamer hated for a while. Just a gag anime about how many ways the main characters can die. Nothing more than that. Sadly we have to have 250 characters for a review so I will end it here.

  • Funny show, terrible movie
The show is a short anime about four kids locked in a house who get brutally murdered every episode. It's silly and kinda funny and not bad at all.

The movie, is a terrible garbage show. It takes a silly concepts and takes it way way to seriously with characters that look like background NPCs in a video game. Different from the show the movie is 3D animated and the design is very generic and ...

This really has got to be a joke.
In one episode they manage to fall flat. It wasn't funny or even interesting. I really don't understand why they would make it into an anime. The little game was only okay because PEWDIEPIE made it funny. Out of all the indie games to make an anime from, they chose the worst.
