    What An Experience...
This series definitely put its mark on anime history as one of the most interesting and unique series of all time. You have all of your staple traits from Shaft at their best: the head tilting, the tsundere, the dialogue, and the animation as a whole. The characters are very interesting, and I was surprised at how they kept me hooked to the episodes in the moments that seemed to make me want to ...

The 'Monogataris' are a great set of anime.
I just finished all 3 of the Monogatari seasons. (Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari and Monogatari: Second Season). All of them were simply amazing. You might find yourself confused at times but if you carry on watching, your confusion will be cleared up in a later episode. A lot of text shows up and disappears too quick for you to read during each episode but they don't contribute to the plot so ...

  • A welcome surprise//
The Monogatari series really surprised me. I wasn't expecting much other than Ecchi coming in, really only giving it a shot for the art. Instead I was surprised with a surprisingly deep male lead who was genuinely a good guy with real character flaws that didn't boil down to "i'm a fucking moron." The "harem" cast is also diverse enough, and lacks any of the usual annoying mainstays we get in the ...

  • Truly a unique and fun anime.
This anime style just drew me in. Though it was tough to keep up with some of the scene cards that flash a message quickly (I ended up skipping back to see what I missed reading) the anime visually was great. The concept of helping people with unique monsters was something that also caught me. I still have to watch the OWAs (though I wish they were available here) but I know it will not change my ...

    Confusing, yet satisfying.
This anime is very confusing, and hard to pick up. There is a few ecchi scenes in it, and it is an okay anime overall. If you like to watch a simple show that you can understand, then this show is not for you. Only watch this if you want to be confused and not know what's happening, but at the same time like the show. I don't know how to explain it any better than that. You would have to watch it ...

    Bakemonogatari is Absolutely Amazing!
What more can I say? Yes, there are elements of ecchi in it. But the story, the characters, the emotions, the artisticness and the uniqueness of it. This is hands down, the best anime series I've ever watched. I fully plan on going on to watch Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari, and Monogatari Series 2.

Crunchyroll doesn't have the last three episodes of Bakemonogatari, however. This was ...

    Amazing dialogue and animation
what really astounds me in this anime is the breathtaking dialogue. Its so deep, complex and enchanting that it makes fall in love with the story with just the conversations. I have gain so much insight from an anime other than "guilty crown" or "anohana." However, this completely surpassed both in terms of language. A great anime i must say!

  • That's a lot of supplies up there.
Bakemonogatari is a two world in one anime. Based off a light novel by Nisio Isin, we follow Koyomi Araragi after being returned to his life as human, well, mostly human. The anime starts out doing quick flashes from what seems to be Araragi’s loss and regaining of his humanity from his vampire state. And as amazing as the lead in is, its cut short after a few minutes to make way to the actual ...

There is no way I can be more confused or amazed
This show is so unlike any other Anime that I have seen, it took me a few episodes to get into the mindset of watching it, just a warning. This anime elegantly moves the plot along through slightly related mini-arcs encompassing a few episodes. You will never be so confused or curious about an anime. I am eagerly awaiting more seasons, to learn about the back story of the ex-Vampire main character ...

    Interesting and Touching
The story of this anime is sublime. I was touched by every character's personal stories, and how the main character develops such relationships with them. The animation is of really good quality, though different from what you'd normally be used to. I love the music for the series as well. Each OP is tailored for the character they are about, and they reflect the character's personality or aura ...
