Just thought I'd chuck a word in...
Okay, so I read the 5 star review and I've read the one star reviews.
-I've got very little to add, read one or two of each, and I must remind you the confusing series order is Bakemonogatari>Nisemonogatari>Nekomonogatari>Bakemonogatari second season.

Alright, but I should add in quick summary, this particular series (because that's what this review is posted on) is visually beautiful but ...

I am a loss for words at this.
If you told me somebody besides Gainax could make a bat sh** insane plot premise entertaining and fulfill my love of violence, sex, and ludicrous story telling in one show, I would have laughed in your face. Apparently I have never heard of Studio SHAFT. I think these guys came up with Steins;Gate which registers highly on my recent awesome shows I had no idea existed, but after seeing the first ...

Bakemonogatari stands out from the crowd of generic and bland anime and is a one-of-a-kind experience.
Welcome to my review of one of the most successful anime of the past years and one of my personal favorites; Bakemonogatari by Studio SHAFT.

Neither the story nor the premise are anything new or unique and the whole thing remains pretty aimless for the most part to be honest but it has a solid concept which it stays honest to. The story is seperated into few story arcs, each focusing ...

    Only thing better is Nisemonogatari
I love the story and especially the characters of Bakemonogatari. The animation ... well, not so much. At first it was not a problem because the story and especially the dialogue is A LOT to take in at once. Honestly, I did not even notice a problem until re-watching Bakemonogatari after first watching Nisemonogatari and also reading the parts of the light novel in translation ...

An Excellent Dialogue Oriented Supernatural Harem Anime: 4.5/5
There are a few exceptions (actually, more than I care to admit), but I usually don't like Harem or Supernatural anime. Both genres often fall into very predictable patterns or overuse certain tropes, almost to the point of causing psychological trauma. This is a good one, though.

Bakemonogatari is a dialogue oriented supernatural harem anime. This means that the lifeblood of the show is witty ...

    Bakemonogatari is Absolutely Amazing!
What more can I say? Yes, there are elements of ecchi in it. But the story, the characters, the emotions, the artisticness and the uniqueness of it. This is hands down, the best anime series I've ever watched. I fully plan on going on to watch Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari, and Monogatari Series 2.

Crunchyroll doesn't have the last three episodes of Bakemonogatari, however. This was ...

I wish this was food, so I could have it inside me.
Based on the light novel series, that I've never read..., Bakemonogatari, not to be confused with Bakugan (which is horrible) or Gataroo Man (an atypical rhythm game) is a series of episodic, intertwining stories revolving around a cast of 'cursed' individuals. The main perver- protagonist, Araragi sets about, in each instance, to help his variable harem (all his friends are ladies) rid ...

    A good strange Anime
This was an interesting anime. It is hard to describe the type of anime it was, but if you are looking for a strange, paranormal, with odd love relationships, and sort of harem type anime then this is the one for you.

I am giving this 3 stars because they do not have the last 3 episodes. :(

Visuals so stunning the Crunchyroll player needs an upgrade
Based on the light novels by Nisio Isin.
    Anime adaptation by Shaft.

The rest of this review is just gilding the lily.
    .

If it seems like the stories begin half-way through, well, yes, yes they do. So do the novels. There are references to things ...

The 'Monogataris' are a great set of anime.
I just finished all 3 of the Monogatari seasons. (Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari and Monogatari: Second Season). All of them were simply amazing. You might find yourself confused at times but if you carry on watching, your confusion will be cleared up in a later episode. A lot of text shows up and disappears too quick for you to read during each episode but they don't contribute to the plot so ...
