Think raising a child is easy?
What if that child was the son of a demon lord?
Raising Baby Beel turned Oga's upside-down. With Baby Beel came a whole bunch of insanity. Beelzebub's strength lies in that it's a comedy. Nothing should be taken extremely seriously. The story can become serious, but once the job is done it will go right back to the comedy.
There's a large variety of character that are there to make us laugh. The music and animation are all well done.
This is a comedy that a lot of people should check out.

So I can say I'm disappointed Beezelbub only got to 60 episodes. Im also kind of glad it go to 60 episodes at the same time. I was always excited to see Oga and Baby Beel always getting stronger together, but then there was always and incredible amount of filler between the arcs, and that was frustrating a little more than Naruto and Bleach.
But enough of ranting, here is a review.
Beezelbub has alot of slapstick that is missing nowadays. It truly was funny at some points, with the nice facial expressions and reactions that everybody has to one certain event or another.
The story was decent, but because of the fillers I had to say that it made it boring for a few weeks for something else to kick off
Music I dont think was amazing, but I did like how a new opening and ending came out every 12 episodes, kept things fresh
I love the characters, such a wide range that fit the shounen dynamic and didn't fail to please me at all
Also for a shounen show I liked the rich colors. Some details were obviously left just plain but atleast each character got its own color flavor which worked well.

I was very fond with this anime. Each character brought their own "slice of life" into this show. They all had an interesting role that helped the story line develop into some strong and action-packed! Long story short a demon baby comes to Earth with an order given to him by the King of the underworld to destroy all of humanity. Needing to find a host, Oga becomes this demo baby's "babysitter" in away. From fights to good times, a bond is developed between the baby, Beelzebub and Oga. Soon enough the King of the Underworld, also the father of the demon child sends his eldest son to take over Beelzebub's assignment to enslave and destroy the Earth and humanity! *DUN DUN........DUN!*
Arriving onto Earth the eldest child is nothing but a cry baby and lazy as heck as well, but having tough, intimidating knights as back up, Oga, Beelzebub and friends go on a fighting frenzy. I can honestly go on an d on about how interesting, emotional, funny, and action packed this anime is but then I would definitely spoil this for you. I guarantee that you will enjoy this anime but he's a little something, take it as a warning or just watch the ending for yourself.....
** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show**
The ending is a huge cliffhanger and could make you think less of the show. I did after I saw this, but don't get me wrong, its a great show. Just some friends think that it total ruined the show, but I have hope to a new season to appear for this show It totally reminded me of the Blue Exorcist ending.

This is easy one of my favourite animes out there today, and I sincerely recommend anyone watch this if you want a good laugh. The tempo of the anime is very well balanced, with none of the fights draggin out in a silly long way. I also find the characters very lovable and exciting. The biggest positive point I have about the anime is that it differs in story from the manga, but does so in a very good way, using tropes in a perfectly fine manner and keeping it interesting no matter if you've read the manga or not.
What I don't appreciate with the anime would be first of all the music. This is a personal opinion, but I loved the first intro to the anime, and thought the second OP was good, but after that every single OP has been misplaced in terms of lyrical content and feeling to it; it does in no way fit and it pissed me off to the point where I was actually frustrated when I had to watch even a second of it. I feel this way about the outro's as well. However, the music in the anime itself isn't bad, but neither is it as noteworthy good and exciting that it'd raise the grade above average.
Another thing that pisses me off is the animation. In the first few episodes, the animations where so god damn good, with their distinctive style, especially when making intense scenes. This drops as the anime continues, and after a few episodes I can't help but feel that the animation went from great and unique to incredibly ordinary and boring. However, the only reason I complain about this is because it was better in the beginning; Had it started out this way, I would not have cared.
Still, WATCH IT!

I love this anime so much! At first when I began to watch this anime I thought I wouldn't have a liking to it, but OH MY I was wrong! Every episode I cracked up into tears! Plus there aren't many anime that has this unique story line. I recommend this to everyone!! You won't regret it!

I wanted to like this series more than I did in the end (To Ep 60.) I liked the humor in the beginning, but it is a familiar humor and maybe too familiar for me. If I am going to watch comedy about delinquents there's Cromarite High School and for the random humor I have Gintama. The twist with this anime is that a delinquent is raising a demon prince who's going to destroy the human world. That premise and the delinquent high school is fun to watch. There's also a more structured plot happening than in the other two I mentioned.
There are a lot of old tropes in the comedy. I did not want to be the person to say this, but "okay already, I get the gay joke." And I get that Furuichi is desperate to date hot chicks and plagued by the continuing gay joke.
When it comes to characters I did like Oga and Beelzebub, but the characters directly surrounding them, Hilda and Furuichi, fell a little too flat for me in this anime. The other delinquents are quirkier and more interesting. I had my favorites among the secondary characters. I liked watching how the relationship between Beelzebub and Oga formed. I also found any of the episodes involving the other delinquents more interesting than the ones that were only focused on the four main characters and the demon world.
There are elements of this anime that I do not have an opinion on. They are neither here nor there as they say. Sometimes the music caught my attention, but for the most part it was okay. The animation is not the best, but it's kind of what I expect for an anime like this. It's a cartoony animation style, which is not a bad thing, but it does not seem to have a unique edge. So I end up finding the animation slightly lacking, even for the type of anime this is. More could be done with it without taking away from the cartoon feel of it. I know the animators are probably trying to stay somewhat true to the manga's style, but that has not stopped animators from tweaking styles a bit before and, from what I've seen of the manga, I think the style is better in the manga. There is nothing to dislike about the animation, but there's nothing to really love either.
This does have a shonen feel and this is not the first shonen I felt kind of lacked as an anime, but I ended up liking the manga. Admittedly, I am not the biggest shonen fan. The subcategory (in this case I would say comedy) of the main category has to be a pretty strong player in shonen anime or I don't really love it.
Overall, Beezlebub is the kind of series I go to when I have nothing else to watch or when I know the episodes revolve around the characters I enjoy watching. It is a good, lighthearted and often silly series to watch when I'm bored.

Reading the plot I was a bit hesitant but after watching the first three episodes I was hooked first of all you don't have to be a rocket-scientist to understand the story-line, but thats what makes it so great the anime speaks for it's self with the gritty fight scenes with a mix of crazy Characters as you see the Characters grow together you'l. . . Lough, cry even piss ya' self bottom line you gotta, watch!
If you like Bleach, Naruto, Dragonball z or Shaman King I'm 99.9 percent sure.. scratch that, 100 percent sure youl'll be addicted!

I'm just trying to be honest, so don't hate me for it. Here it goes!
It was good.
I love the manga, but in comparison with the anime, the manga wins. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the anime too, but the way they handled the story in comparison wasn't as good. It had too many filler episodes, and not enough progression with the plot; since they had too many filler episodes, and not enough time to finish them, they ended up cramming it into the final episode.
The soundtrack, was great, and I found most of the time, to be fitting with the atmosphere of the show. My favorite OP was the one with MBLAQ, seriously, the song was that good.
Another thing they had right, was the portrayal of the characters. With Alaindelon being excessively flamboyant, Oga being too irrational, and Furuichi being perverted, these made for some epic laughter-fests.
The animation was pretty good, however, the fight scenes were not. Most of them were still-frames, and because of this, some of the most intense moments weren't up to par. You have to admit though, other animes have their scenes well put together.
In conclusion, if you like cheesy, yet hilarious shows, this one's for you. But if you read the manga first, and have high expectations for the anime, then you are out of luck. I definitely recommend anyone who hasn't read the manga, to go check it out!

Warning: This show has a lot of nude baby.
Storyline: It's a little far fetched. A high school delinquent encounters the demon lord's baby, forms a pact (unwillingly) and then has to take care of the crying, electricity-charged bundle of joy. And a joy it is. The story is so unpredictable and the humour so wacky that you will soon find yourself swept up in the craziness that is Beelzebub. The series had its share of fillers but even these were funny enough to be worth watching (aside from those one or two).
Music: Theme songs, theme songs. So many memorable OPs and EDs, from the ones that get in your head (I'm looking at you Papipupepo) to the ones that you'll be ashamed to find catchy (that's right, Baby 'U) and entertaining sequences to go with them. As for the in-show music, all I can remember are the "here comes something ridiculously stupid that will make me laugh" and the "dangerous demonic adversary approaching" tunes. And that's pretty much all the show needed given it's focus on humour and action.
Characters: Where do I begin? So much personality in all of the delinquents, teachers, demons, private school "prefects" etc. Did I mention there was a large variety of characters? Even the most annoying characters only ever graced the screen for 10 seconds max (at a time) so it was never a problem. I found myself wishing for more character development as the series was coming to a close, but on hindsight the creators gave us just enough of everyone.
Animation: Occasionally things will look a bit off (I'm thinking the final episode) but it's never truly distracting. Action scenes and special effects are done quite well. Just don't expect anything pretty - after all, this is a shonen anime, not a fluffy sparkly shojou anime (although now that I think about it, we did see quite a number of sparkles... ah, good 'ol Alaindelon).
Overall: The creators really gave us a bit of everything. You know they've done a good job when you wish the series would go on for a bit longer. Here's hoping there will be some continuation of the story after the dud of a final episode.
