All-in-all after watching merely 4 episodes, I think I got the gist of it, that Black Jack is an alright adaptation of the manga. While they lack all of the dying, they still managed to take nice little parts of the manga and adapt them

lol funny thing happen still, but why one the doctor look like hitler, but with long face? Anyway wow, that is crazy how Black Jack was able not to be rely on the work. In his heart he would very shorten the money, but he play his role.

Oh..so it's been downsized to PG..no wonder since when I read the manga, they'd show the surgeries..body parts and whatnot. Omfg..I really never want to see that "fantasy" ever friggin again..please.

Mmh I watched a few episodes of this anime a long time ago because of that one medical anime about a girl with X-ray eyes but I stopped because they toned this down for children :/ don't get to see the operation

I think knowing how to work people kind of goes with the territory of being a doctor. Doubly so for a doctor like Black Jack who works more like a Loan Shark than anything else. =D

Is there a requisite Tezuka reference in every episode or something, The masks on the truck near the beginning were all his characters, and Pinoko ended up having a Leo/Kimba mask at the festival.
