  • A Unique, Action-filled Anime
I enjoyed Blue Exorcist very much. The anime is very innovative and the plot is very fresh and creative. I would recommend this anime to anyone who likes a show that blends action with drama and comedy. Blue Exorcist is truly an anime that will entertain you. It's about Rin Okumura, the illegitimate son of Satan on his journey of becoming an exorcist to defeat Satan. Along the way, ...

  • Why do you leave me with so little!?
Blue Exorcist was a show I watched a long time ago, but did thoroughly enjoy. Don't get me wrong, I loved the characters and even the plot (though some episodes flat out didn't fit) but it just ended so quickly and abruptly. But let me get to this in a second.
The main character Rin is very unique in his design, but not how he is displayed. On the surface, you could just blow him off as just a ...

  • Watch this and watch the adorable movie too!
This anime is the perfect balance of serious and not-so-serious. I would recommend it to fans of Japanese culture and folklore, as well as anybody who likes fairy tales considering the author loosely based the storyline on a Brothers Grimm tale. It follows the son of the devil, so there are some biblical references if you dare to catch onto them, exorcisms, popular depictions of youkai, exciting ...

  • Different Take on the Exorcising Story
I had watched Ghost Hunt and Tokyo Raven from Funimation before I watched this so I was in the mood for the whole exorcising spirits and demons thing. When I found this on here, I just had to watch this series. This was unique to me because the main character turns out to be the son of the devil and he is vanquishing spirits and demons. Really different for me with this type of thing.

    Plot - ...

  • Enjoyable anime, a good watch.
I enjoyed this anime as it kept me quite entertained. This anime has action, minor comedy, and some drama that is mixed in too a plot that involves religion but doesn't suffocate the viewer with religious ideas. The characters are unique and have interesting characteristics, with highlighted flaws that they each need to overcome. The only thing i wish that was added is another season or more ...

  • A must watch if you like Soul Eater
It's another show that can take the first episode or 3 to get into, but once you get past those initial episodes, you'll be sucked in! It's a new concept and story, filled with fighting, demons, death, love, and LOTS of silliness! The school and it's system are a lot like the DWMA in Soul Eater, but instead of Kishin, souls, and witches you'll have demons, humans, and Holy magic.

  • Remember FMA? The first one not Brotherhood...
So, as the title suggests this has some things in common with FMA, not the story line or the themes but how it plays out at the end. So the manga this is from is still going, and this had to finish somewhere, so about halfway through it takes a major turn that it doesn't in the manga, kind of like FMA. The second half is weird, and it doesn't feel like it makes a ton of sense, especially with how ...
