This anime is pretty cool. She may be a bit annoying but almost every single anime has an annoying girl. I don't think it lessens his hotness or badassness one bit. With or without her he's still awesome

Tons of hate on Isanami. She doesn't bother me. Though, I do recognize that if she weren't in this anime, it would be more like Basilisk than Naruto. She kills the hardcore. But, look on the Bright side: at least she gets beat down alot.

@ekangtots I agree. Even the lines are yaoi-ish... During the fight scene and the red-haired guy was saying stuff like "I'm almost there, you bastard." and "Plunge that sword into me. Send me over the edge." my mind just went there XD

Isanami doesn't bother me, but I don't want her to end up with Saizo! XD I want Sasuke and Saizo together! XD I like how this show is not heteronormative and how two of the male characters wear revealing clothing.

stelion - I totally agree with you on this one. I reckon the creators of Japanese animes/dramas should step out of their comfort zones, and actually put in female characters who are assertive and have weird but wonderful qualities
