Greant Anime with an Interesting story
Broken Blade has all ingredients to become a great anime. The battles are epics and the characters as always in great anime, having friends fighting for each side is a great idea and I can't wait to see more episodes.

    Can't get enough!!!!
At 10 PM this evening, I was wrapping up some homework, when I decided to browse a little. I was looking for Gundam Wing, and happened upon Broken Blade. What started off as a chance meeting, quickly turned into an addiction. By episode three I thought, "Well, I'm half way there! Might as well finish it!" The brief nature of the series means that it's jam packed with action, drama, and mech suits ...

    YES, Mechanical Joy!
Simply an amazing Mech Action-Drama. Humanity can't be altered by a mech; it is a part of the story here! Complex character development & original story line! BREATH TAKING soundtrack & BEAUTIFUL art!

    Amazing, yet short and sweet.
Came into this seeing only the first couple episodes of the new anime series, did some research and found this. After watching all 6 episodes, I am amazed by how good this was. If this went any longer, I think it would've lost its charm. Can't wait to see how the new anime turns out.

Enjoyable even if you don't like mecha
I'm not into mecha at all, but this was very nicely executed. Watch in HD if you can; the background scenery is GORGEOUS. Each of the 6 eps is an hour long, so it's the same as watching a 12-episode normal series. But the longer eps lets things build up longer.

It has a good balance of action and character development. It has a lot of nice subtleties that are usually lacking in mecha anime. ...

It's Good. A little different, but still good.
As indicated in the title, the anime version of Broken Blade is a good show. The main thing that I had to pick at was the fact that I had been reading the manga. As far as a quick Google search got me, I learned that the anime had been completed before the manga was completed. In that sense, I can understand why I felt that some scenes in the anime were different in comparison to the manga. ...

I really enjoy watching Broken Blade
I watched it on a whim the other day and was blown away by how good it was. Just enough action and story to keep you watching. I also really like all aspects of the animation. I definately would recommend Broken Blade to anyone needing a show to watch.
The show starts off a little slow in terms of explaining whats going on between the different powers. However as the show continues each episode ...

Starts good but really needs more...
Broken Blade was interesting. It tempts you into thinking its going somewhere but never does. As it starts you are introduced to versatile characters. They seem to develop early but as it goes on not much changes. Music and voice is great. Artwork is good. Although each is one hour, they are surprisingly not very in-depth. The action is paced well, so that makes up for it.

    My biggest complaint ...

    6 episodes, 1 hour each
Pretty good anime. Kept me entertained throughout. Good characters and action scenes. Well worth checking out. Since these are more like films, you can watch one a day as they don't really end on cliffhangers like some anime tend to do at the end of an episode.

Excellent anime, finally a great mecha that I can recommend!
Great anime. Finally an amazing mecha to watch! Highly recommended, think about it, 6 1 hour episodes is like 12-16 22/30 minute episodes. It is great.

The only downside was its never explained how he got the quartz voice to work, I assume he got a "primitive or ancient" microphone.

    - Cheers
