Started out great, but became predictable and cheesy and characters trust one another too easily
Episode 1: very interesting. no annoying characters so far. characters are like-able. story is interesting. great dialogues. very engaging. hope it keeps this quality and doesn't roam into the... cheesy everyday high school life... such as... the main girl suddenly starts making sandwiches for the main guy sort of thing.

Episode 2: Shit starts to get real. Evil government/mad scientists and ...

    "In The Darkness" is right
The summery gave a a bit of a dark expectation but for the hero its even more traumatic to lose a friend at such an early age. So is it weird and cowardly to cling to a strange goal of proving that aliens exist? Or is it bold and ambitious? Either way this darker story of the season is pretty gripping and it keeps up its rather dark and foreboding theme. Astronomy is an interesting topic and this ...

    Good, should have been great...
I did like this series, and I would not recommend avoiding it, but for some reason it never seemed to reach its potential. The characters were likable and diverse, though maybe a bit cliched, the art was very good, the music (some very good) complimented the series nicely. All compliments aside, I never really liked or disliked this one, but there did not seem to be any major detractors, it really ...

    don't watch this :((
manga was really good, but the anime was way too rushed and bad compared to the manga. idk how they jammed 100 chapters into 12 episodes but okay lol
you're better off reading the manga though tbh
they skipped a bunch of arcs which were important for character development
this doesnt do the manga justice

Fucking Awesome and Completely worth the Time to Watch!!!
Ok as far as their powers go I'm super curious about a number of things. Overall I think the series was freaking awesome and definitely worth watching. There's some rewatch value for sure!

    Unexpected Hidden Gem
The descriptions of this show don't do it justice, and the name seems a bit strange as well. The story concept is mysterious and unusual making it a compelling show. I wish there was a second season and I don't say that very often. I suspect if you like SAO you'll find this show interesting even though it is a dissimilar story concept.

Wow! Much better than I expected!
Right from the first episode, I was hooked! I will warn you, it's very violent and dark but I don't think it would have worked any other way.

That said it's not all dark and violent. There are light moments which helps balance it out. But even in those episodes you never forget the main plot ... if anything it gives you a break from it.

Loved the artwork and music score too! This is ...

  • Hey Baby, your face is melting!
Verdict up front? sure! This is good show to watch!

This show has a good blend of cute girls, magic, aliens, evil bastards and a crazed scientist. What more could you ask for?

The show revolves around the last member of a dying astronomy club, who has a chance encounter with some technological witches. The writing has a decent amount of humor, but that pales in comparison to the off handed ...

Brynhildr in the Darkness: Which Witch?
Brynhildr in the Darkness takes place in Japan, following Ryouta - a student who, as we see in the opening scene, lost his dearest friend Kuroneko several years ago. Suddenly, a girl who very strongly resembles his childhood friend, even down to the name Neko Kuroha, transfers into his class and, well, his life is never to be the same.

After a strange accident at school, Neko approaches Ryouta ...
