  • We Found a Witch, May We Burn Her?
    Production Quality- ☆☆☆☆☆ | Plot & Character- ☆☆☆ | Family Viewing- ☆☆

Do avoid spoilers if at all possible. Those who spoil for others will be...
    Interesting but underdeveloped.

Family Viewing received a 2 due to intense scenes of violence, language, and fan service.

  • A good watch, but had potential for more
Reading the manga before watching the anime left me with a bitter taste in my mouth, although the series was excellent to watch it could have been so much more than what it was.
    The animation I really enjoyed..

I for some reason heavily disliked that of course his "supposed to be dead" childhood friend ends up being her, it was so obvious and cliche. However a good watch, you'd be better off ...

    Its Actually amazing.
Thats pretty much it. Its so good. What you want more? Well the fact is that this anime is like most archetype of boy meets girl who leads him to me girl girl girl, and then its a harim. But, the action , story line, back story, and super sad moments will hit you every time. Just go watch it.

  • It has potential and it could be better
All in all, it was a good series. But what I heard, the manga keeps going. I wish they could of fleshed out the series more instead of cramming everything in into just 12 episodes. There were some plot holes that I wished were filled but hey, it's still a good series.

  • Just stay in the dark
Did you watch Elfen Lied, but think, "This show needs more 1-dimensional characters, a gibbering, nonsensical plot, and gratuitous censorship?" If so, then this is the show for you.

It failed on basically every level - as a harem, comedy, sci-fi, horror, action, and romance. It is filled to the brim with annoying, stereotypical tropes that fall flat, a predictably useless, go-nowhere plot, and ...

  • Lovely, sad: recommeded
    First, sorry for my english.

I like these animes containing a mixture of action, adventure, love and logical drama / sadness.

I felt like watching him in every episode. In some I was laughing alone, in others I was speechless and of course: sad too.

It was not the saddest thing I saw and even the most touching, but no doubt it was worth watching, especially the endless efforts of ...

  • most fantastical anime
love the storyline, was one of the most fantastic anime i have ever watched. Love how they brought about the idea of witches. Would love to see a season 2 if possible, love the darkness mixed in with love, also there was always a touch of light to the setting. As usual love how this anime didnt give up on the true meaning of friendship, and what is means to always hold someone in your heart and not ...

  • Somehow Worse than Elfen Lied
Brynhildr is an anime based on a manga written and drawn by the same guy who did Elfen Lied. The Elfen Lied manga was a lot like the anime though the anime tied things up at the halfway point of the manga. This led to a huge problem because the anime ended very early without explaining anything but the manga continued and made a little more sense after the anime’s cut-off point (though went crazy ...

  • Bad ending for a good manga
It started out well, but the last arc (Valkyria) felt like they crammed a year-long story into 4 episodes. I haven't read the original manga, but I've been told the anime version left out a few very important arcs as well. They should have at least made 2 quarters out of it than just 1. Not recommended.
