    "In The Darkness" is right
The summery gave a a bit of a dark expectation but for the hero its even more traumatic to lose a friend at such an early age. So is it weird and cowardly to cling to a strange goal of proving that aliens exist? Or is it bold and ambitious? Either way this darker story of the season is pretty gripping and it keeps up its rather dark and foreboding theme. Astronomy is an interesting topic and this ...

Shaky start leaves room for potential, but throws it away like trash.
This is a brief of my thoughts about the first episode.

Let me start by saying that this anime has Mad Potential!
A very Elfen lied esque vibe right from the start with a bunch of action, twists and turns already in episode 1. Very entertaining indeed, but for some reason i felt like it was mercilessly rushing through the plot. Perhaps it is because i already know the story or perhaps ...

Started out great, but became predictable and cheesy and characters trust one another too easily
Episode 1: very interesting. no annoying characters so far. characters are like-able. story is interesting. great dialogues. very engaging. hope it keeps this quality and doesn't roam into the... cheesy everyday high school life... such as... the main girl suddenly starts making sandwiches for the main guy sort of thing.

Episode 2: Shit starts to get real. Evil government/mad scientists and ...

Sudden childhood friend appearance ... with a twist
Murakami has a cute childhood friend who sees aliens. When Kuroneko takes him to show him an alien, they both fall from a dam and she dies. Later, when he's in high school, a new transfer student shows up who looks nearly identical to his old friend Kuroneko. Murakami soon learns she's no ordinary girl when she saves his life and an unusual friendship is restarted. Excellent art and an intriguing ...

    Great start! Looks very promising!
This anime shows lots of promise. The guy is not that much of a wimp and at least he does have friends. I love the voice acting in this anime as well. I'm looking forward to seeing more episodes. This episode left me with so many questions! After the episode I just sat and kinda speculated what would happen next. I hope they toss a little bit of romance in there. Looks like there is lots of moe ...

    Bright in dark directed!
Very mysterious. I enjoy its plot and have some decent expectations! The only thing that worries me is that it was created by the same people who did Elfen Lied. Elfen Lied was a very good series but what lost some interest in viewers was the exposing nudity and the bizarre open connotation it gave. Let's just all wait and see. No grudges have been put upon this....yet. ^_^

    Characters Going Downhill
While the animation and soundtrack are above average, the show lacks much needed character development to round off those static personalities. I initially had hope for the protagonist, but his potential for being a critical thinker went down the drain after the first episode. Pretty much all of the characters in the show suffer from this problem, and this has made dramatic scenes much less ...

My Top Pick for the Spring 2014 Season
Last season I made the mistake of selecting only a few shows based on their summaries and picking my favorite from those few only to find some better ones later on. This time I watched almost all of the new shows for the season before making any choices. That being said, this sci-fi mystery/thriller is my top pick for the season. The storyline is not very forthcoming with information but I guess ...

    Best Mystery/Action/Suspenseful anime of 2014
Brynhildr is definitely one of the better anime for 2014. Here's why

    1. The characters are well developed but still have a ways to go
    2. Mystery and suspense always cloud in at every episode
    3. New interesting plot and story line
    4. Some odd kind of aura that just surrounds this anime

    Actual Review and Synopsis

    Synopsis
The story takes place in a world of witches and ...
