An Interesting Show For Summer 2013
I personally like this anime. You have your usual straight man in a room filled with comedic characters that act as though what they are doing is normal. The references that they show are also well done. This reminds me of Gintama and Sket Dance in a way where they talk and do absolutely nothing. I recommend that you watch this series as it gets interesting the more that you watch.

    chronicles of the meh club
yeah im not feeling this show that much, some of the jokes fall flat and the straight man in this comedy group is honestly annoying. And this is more of a nit pick but whats the deal with Natsuki Andō (the straight man of the group) and that antenna of hair she has? I watched the first episode and about the first few minutes of the second episode and I was bored, im skipping this one.

Disappointed me more than I thought
I first turned on this show with fresh eyes, thinking it would be exactly the same as any other school anime but still as enjoyable. And now I find myself saying that the only good thing about it is the animation quality which is up to par with all the other anime from this Summer. Seriously though, this is supposed to be a comedy but I never found myself laughing during any of it. The 22 minutes ...

this has no interest for young adults 17plus
honestly this show is for more younger viewers like 13 14 year olds that like to go out after school and have fun with their little friends a show really thats made for the public teen that want to live their young life and have many memories for when they were in school

Not your average high school anime
I tried this anime on a whim, curious at what it is about and I'm Glad I did. its not just another high school club anime, its random forth wall breaking and show reference makes it unique and funny. Just random stuff thrown at you from left and right. if your of fan of azumanga daiho, haganai and/or haiyore nyaruko-san then you 'll love this show

Why Make a High School Comedy for Nine Year Olds?
I will watch high school club anime, but I expect them to be more grounded than whatever this was. If you can't have relatable characters with relatable drama, then I at least expect to see some demon powers. It put me in a good mood at first, but maybe that was because the opening credits reminded me of Kokoro Connect, but it was not funny, and they had completely lost me when the girl (see, I do ...

    Not my favorite club
I've watched numerous club type animes and this one didn't keep my attention. Drifted off during most of the program. The characters are very forgetful and uninteresting. I watched the 1st episode because a person who reviewed this compared it too Azumanga Daioh and Haganai, which are my all time favs but this is nothing like it.

    Unintersting No Laughs
This is the only show so far that I have tried watching on crunchyroll that I refused to watch past 1 episode. The characters were all bland and uninteresting. There was no humour (as far as I could tell) and the general progression of events left nothing to be desired. I literally found myself cringing my teeth (you know like when someone mentions Excalibur?) during this episode at how bad ...

A witty examination of anime series
Many of these "comedy slice of life" series are an examination of the characters and their relationships with each other. The Chronicles of the Going Home Club really isn't about that. The characters in this series are more like a medium from which they serve up some kind of (usually amusing) commentary. I find that the jokes in this series have a subtle maturity and sophistication that you don't ...

Going home is going well. . .
Another school club anime, but nicely done. Unlike so many others, however, this show focuses almost entirely upon club time, to the near-exclusion of seeing the characters at home or involved in normal school activities. The humor is often subtle, despite the writers' obvious love of puns, and reflects a lot of pop culture influences. The cast is an ensemble of five arch stereotypes (the ...
