    First Impressions of Clockwork Planet
Seeing as there are no reviews as of yet, I have decided to give a brief one.

Clockwork Planet presents it self in some typical shonen ways, and some nontypical ways. It has some elements of ecchi. The taste of action that the viewer is given in the beginning of the anime seems to be about average for a shonen, and in some ways isn't very representative of the rest of the episode which ...

    First Immpressions ... meh...
Having read the clockworks manga, I feel that they skipped over some important parts at the beginning. It doesn't properly explain the main character's ability - nor, does it explain his obsessive behavior with gears and sound.

Was disappointed with this start. I'll watch one, maybe two more episodes, but did not enjoy this episode.

Potential shounen anime with ecchi elements
Based on the light novel series (by Yuu Kamiya [No Game No Life] and Tsubaki Himana) it is about the relationship of Naoto Miura, a shounen clock/gear maniac, and RyuZU YourSlave (an automaton with a mysterious past).

For disclosure, I did not read the light novels. I can only get a sense of where the anime is going to go.

I am getting strong vibes from RyuZU being verbally abusive to ...

10/10 want an automaton girl to fall out of the sky in my room
Not sure whats up with the bad reviews one episode in. I enjoyed the first episode a lot. A basic summary would be this boy Naoto Miura who is obsessed with clockwork and automata's in a world completely made of clockwork is sitting in his room praying for a automata to fall out of the sky(and it does of course). RyuZU is the Automaton that comes from the sky in a box, in short he fixes her and ...

    fun clockwork fantasy
Based on the first episode, this is a paragon male otaku fantasy: a girl essentially dropped into your lap, that your mad technical skills make you somewhat uniquely able to turn on, who is absolutely loyal, eager, incredibly beautiful, and, most amazingly, behaves in a way you can understand!

As such, perhaps it lacks subtlety, but both the gears and the characters provide plenty of ...

This restores my faith in anime
Only one eps in and I'm loving this so far, this has amazing potential I can tell from watching the first episode. Right now given that they don't mess up in later episodes this could be as good as code geass from my opinion.

Art 5/5 - I am a huge fan of the steampunk world and this is my dream reality so far, characters have great detail, backgrounds are unique and colorful, and the theme is ...

    A great first episode intro
I haven't read any of the manga/light novel and there's only one episode out at this point, but going off the first episode this is going to be a series to watch!

The first episode does a wonderful job of introducing the show and it's characters. By using a generic fight sequence at the beginning that allows you to see the characters in action, working together, we get to see each character's ...

Review after episode 1 and 2
Tastes like cheddar and sour-cream potato chips. Slightly cheesy, mild, but not bad, and somewhat different while being more of the same.

    This show gets points for:
Interesting concept, the world itself is quite cool.
Moderately interesting characters, with skills that relate to the somewhat odd world design.

    This show loses points for:
Crappy overused cliches that have no business being ...

    Great world building entirely wasted.
From the very first action scene, after the brief intro, I could tell the quality of this anime. Protagonists arrogantly posing in front of a hail of gunfire, without any moves to actually protect themselves, nonchalantly swatting mooks like they don't have a care in the world. And why should they? They've been equipped with titanium-reinforced plot armor! When RyuZU appears shortly thereafter, ...

Could be great, but will have to wait and see...
A quick overview without any actual spoilers. First, I never read the manga. I'm not a big manga fan and this review is based purely on my perspective from the anime.

Ep 1: A bit over the top on the ecchi fan service type elements, but with just enough plot elements to make me want continue watching.

Ep 2: Rounds out the intro and fleshes out the overall initial elements of the plot and ...
