CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion

This series gives a lot. This is a must watch but as a fan of anime please purchase the DVD's and watch the commentary on the episodes. This will give you a lot of insight and what it feels to be a voice actor/tress in the anime industry. Putting that aside, Lelouch Lamperouge is sick of the same life over and over. The world must be changed and he agonizes over the cruelty of the world, pointing at others, at him, and his beloved sister. Now, Lelouch will become the hero, but will he succeed? Will he become the one to ultimately change the world? Or will he still be just a tragic hero? Code Geass is full of impact, despair, yet in some episodes, there is still comic relief. Fans adore the life of Lelouch's student life and then return to how turn after turn, there will be betrayal, uncertainty, realization. The character designs are from Clamp and what can be noticed is the progress of technology throughout the series. Beautiful artwork, high detail in places like the hair, light and show. Also very colorful! Bringing together cultures in the series, which is also what Lelouch will also do. Doing whatever he can to achieve victory. Ever since that fateful day with a mysterious green haired girl, Lelouch now has all the cards in his hands! Are you read for the rebellion? Lelouch vi Britannia commands you!

Music: Astounding! Well, not everything. My favorite tracks would be just a few from each OST. But my top fav would be In Justice, the perfect theme for Zero! The music varies. During serious scenes, it can be 'quite' theatrical, the kind of music that draws me in and is just Full of energy! However there's a bit of jazz and spanish style music for "Zero" track in the OST as well as Black Knights theme. For scenes such as for normal life and school life, it's just fabulous music! Otherwise, we switch to sometimes either soft or low mysterious music or perhaps in a garden. Not much happy music but a few.

Characters: Find out yourself! Every character has his and her own struggle especially with values and with dealing with two sides. Even minor characters!

Animation: Animation is so-so but I think they have done great with this series! Great color and design!

As we all should know, Lelouch (also known as zero) was looked upon by C.C and given the amazing power of Geass. Throughout the series, lelouch is faced with many obstacles and new aquaintences to achieve his goals of over powering britania (hope thts how you spell it) He shows great skills with this power, but just like any other teenager, Lelouch still struggles with every day situations such as love intrest and also trying to masquerade his identity as zero! Will our beloved protagonist rise to conquer? Or be drenched with the blood shed lives that have already been lost..

Lelouch vi Brittania aka Lelouch Lamperouge.... is the main character of Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R1 and R2. And.. As we all know, every villain has a secret life.. and a secret love. Throughout the series we see Lelouch with different cute girls namely Kallen Kouzuki and Shirley Finelle. Both girls has a secret thing for Lelouch.. but who will Lelouch choose? Kallen who has always been by his side? or Shirley who has loved him and has been with him for years? Who will Lelouch choose? Shirley or Kallen. To find out watch Code Geass R1 and R2. ^_~

as soon as i watched this it totally made me think this was better than naruto,or shugo chara or any anime IN THE WORLD :d its so surprzing ever time like your like tyhis awesum part in a ep. and then teh last sec. something so unnoticed happens and your like OMG!OMG?OMFG?!?!

This anime series is one of the greatest piece of work ever done! From the beginning to the heart throbbing end where the main character *beep*! Sorry, you gotta watch it. Anyways, the story, brilliantly planned and thought out. The character's outside and inside conflicts were amazing, and the complexity of how the main character thinks and acts was great! The rest of the character's plots where good, and the cast who voiced them are talented! At the end of every episode it leaves you wanting for more and more. And personally, I did wish that this series went on but it's amazing as it is!

Code Geass is a brilliant piece of work, some times its surreal, but then other times it pops into your head and you cant help but wonder why you never thought of that. Lelouch, the main character, always twists his plans so you cant exactly see what he is going to do next, other times you do though, expecting him to do something else. I Loved this series, and i would watch it again. the only changes i would make would be the first few episodes of the second season.

Code Geass is an amazing anime, the best one I've yet to see out of 100. You'll fall in love with this show, with the brilliant plotline that keeps you desperate for more. (The music is OK, but a lot of it isn't really...pleasing to the ear. The second season is better for music.)

Code Geass is amazing, and will leave you shocked, mortified, and speechless before delivering a pun to brighten the mood. That's really what it is, and several characters are specifically to brighten the mood.

A warning - Code Geass is not for the squeamish. It has been compared to Death Note before, and if you've seen that, you know exactly what I'm talking about. The whole thing is realistic, and it makes you feel helpless as you watch the main character, Lelouch, sentence someone to death. But he always has a reason, and you always know it's coming.

But that's not to say the show is predictable. No, it isn't. In fact, Code Geass is baffling and amazing, hosting a large number of plot twists. You can't believe half of the stuff as you're watching it - the betrayal, the cruelty, the selflessness.

Another warning is that the show is kind of fanservice ridden. But that's really beside the point, since the fanservice is also a device to lighten the mood. You really can't skip any episodes (the plot is so twisting that you can't or you won't get the next few episodes) so I suggest you go into each of your episodes prepared.

Simply put, Code Geass is a masterpiece. If you're mature enough to watch it, it will definitely become a favorite.

This is easily one of the best anime out there. Some of the only complaints I have heard about this anime is the drawing style in which the characters are all very lanky with very large eyes. That however was never an issue for myself.

This is a story of one exiled prince's rise to power using whatever within his power to obtain his goals, and other persons struggle to change the system from within.

The mechas in this anime, known as Knightmares, are an interesting change to the gundam, or macross mecha, where they seem to be more like roller skating robots. I know sounds weird but it works well and the anime does an excellent job to fulfill the combat capabilities of this knightmares in the anime.

The biggest clincher to this anime is how it actually ends in a satisfying way. A little thought to it, but in all you will be glad you spent the time watching seasons one and two to this anime.
