Coffee Prince

WATCH THIS. it is one of the most amazing things i've seen in the kdrama dept. I couldn't stopped watching. (Love you Kim Jae Wook) Min-yup is so much like a giant. haha. Anyways, the story was great, though i wished they'd shown them getting married. The guy who plays the lead male's cousin is cool too. Characters, epic. Acting- I can't judge that really...... Music, I found it GREAT and overall, THE BEST EVAH!!!!!!!

I have never watched drama's in my life but I saw this one and thought the name sounded nice and so I took a look and found that I loved the storyline and thought I would give it a try... I don't remember what year I started watching it but I remembered I loved it. I watched it again and I still love it and it's just as cute as I remembered. If you really want to see a cute drama and one that will make you laugh and smile. Then I would give this one a try.

My favorite drama ever. (next to "When It's At Night")

This drama had the perfect storyline, the perfect characters, the perfect music, the perfect everything. Everyone was so lovable, and the plot was realistic yet still adventurous. It had good twists in the story and you laughed, cried, and felt every emotion each character was going through. I laughed a lot while watching this drama as well as shed my fair share of tears and felt butterflies in my stomach during the romantic moments. ^^; This drama is too hard to resist, it's definitely a must see if you have not seen it. Han-Gyul & Eun Chan's romance is precious and makes you excited to see their relationship grow! Kim Jae Wook always plays the sort of mysterious guy - it was cute to see his playful side come out a bit more in this drama. All the scenes were gripping and it was just ahhhhh, a great great drama. <3

I can watch this drama 2, 3, 4 times & never get tired of it! There are so many memorable scenes in this drama, so many cute scenes that I just adore watching over & over again. >.< I love it.

I have not been watching Korean Dramas a lot. But this Drama is really TO DIE FOR!!!
The characters are funny and lovable. Not only that but the storyline is put together quite well.
(But you will get grossed out in some parts of the Drama, and also at times you might want to punch
some of the characters for being so thickheaded) that's my only down side to this.

I love this show because it was just so real and natural. there are so many characters that you will love. each character holds their own and keeps you attached to the show. First it starts off silly then it just becomes a real life drama with love and relationships and friendships. it breaks all taboo subjects in asia like pregnancy outside of marriage and homesexuality , rich , poor etc... this was truly a treat!

"Coffee Prince" is arguably the best and most popular Korean drama of all, and all the hype it has received and will still receive, is well deserved. It follows the story of Eun Chaen, a tomboyish woman who is willing to make about anything in order to sustain her family. By accident she meets Choi Han Kyul, a late-20's playboy from a rich family, who recently moved back to Korea by his grandma's insistence. He thinks Eun Chan is a boy, and takes him as his employee, first as his "male lover" so he can get rid of all the blind dates his grandma has set up for him, and then as one of the "coffee princes" that works at the coffee shop his grandma has set up for him to work. Even though they are completely different, they start developing feelings for each other, to a point in which Han Kyul questions his own sexuality, and in the most touching point of the series, is willing to accept his feelings for another "man".

Along them are Han Kyul's cousin, Han Seung, a amicable and nice music producer who falls in love with Eun Chan while trying to sort things out with his longtime on-off girlfriend Han Joo Yoo, a beautiful artist who dumped him in order to follow her career. There are also the "Princes", a bunch of guys that end up working at the Coffee Prince shop: there's major douchebag Ha Rim, introverted Waffle Sun Ki(who has a rather interesting love story going in the series), the stupid yet caring Min Yup(who follows and stalks Eun Chan's egotistical sister), and Mr. Hong, the carefree co-manager.

Finding a flaw in "Coffee Prince" is quite hard. Acting is excellent by EVERYONE, but major props goes to Yoon Eun Hye, for she pretty much became Eun Chan. Gong Yoo was great too as Han Kyul, the character which in my opinion is the best developed, for we see him turning from an arrogant playboy to the sweetest, childish "fool in love". Even when they are complete opposites, their chemistry is beyond words. It has the right amounts of fun and drama without any overbearing the other. Music, animations and artistic enhancements are also excellent.

To some, "Coffee Prince" is only a mere series. To some of us, it's a magical experience. Whenever I watch it, I laugh and cry like the first time. It's a love story so powerful to ignore, and a comedy so charming to let it pass. This is the kind of story that has already gone beyond places, and it will surely go beyond time. This is more than recommended!!!

Honestly I think giving out spoilers suck so I'm only giving out my opinion and hope you as a viewer will understand where I'm coming from 1) Overall, one word (and not to sound cliche), but there isn't a good enough adjective to describe it because its that good enough to watch even after finishing it once.

2) The storyline isn't very common amongst other relationships, why? Because its not a matter of just falling for just a man or a woman, its in the means of who you love no matter the consequence and endearing the relentless repercussions that come along with it.

3) Music: here's a good adjective, superb (because each score matched with each scene and each emotion)

4) Characters, well done Directors and Script writers for they chose amazing actors to play these outrageously funny roles.

5) Acting: to the main characters, God you guys seriously sold me. Speaking retrospectively, I've felt like I can be each and every single one of these characters... Loving someone when I'm not supposed to but you can't help the way you feel because you're only human.. Now that's what I gathered from this Drama. Sorry if I'm being tacky now but love shouldn't have a boundary of who you are, or what you look like, or even your profession. You love because you just have to and you shouldn't hold back from that. If there's something to learn from this drama there isn't just one, but many good things that you can attain from each character.

I'm a super big fan of coffee prince,why? Because its not just another tacky love story that you can just predict but it will make you feel something at the end and even afterwards that you makes you want them to create a second season... I sure as hell know I want them to

This is the second best asian drama i have ever seen.
It was a really sweet and funny watch. The characters were great, the story line was pretty good, and it was hilarious.
It starts with Han Gyuls's grandmother bringing him back to korea for some unknown (to him) reason. When he gets there, his grandmother sets him up on a series of blind dates which he's completely objective about. One day he meets Eun-Chan and mistakes her for a boy. Eun is the person who takes care of her family after her father dies so she is strong so when Han Gyul offers her money to pretend to be his lover on his blind dates to chase off the girls his grandmother sets him up with, she accepts. After that, Han Gyul's grandmother forces him to open up a coffee shop which he then hires Eun as his first employee. As they start getting closer he develops feeling for her and because he thinks she's a guy he starts to believe that he is gay. He is joined by his long time crush Yoo Joo and his cousin, who also happens to be Yoo Joo's boyfriend, Han Sung in a series of hilarious, heartbreaking, surprising, and sweet events.
This drama appeals to all of of your emotions. You wil laugh, cry and be surprised. This is one of the must see asian dramas out there.

If it wasn't for Alersi's review, I would never have watched this. I'm so glad that I did. Eun Chan is a tomboy who is also the bread winner of her house. Do to an accident, Eun Chan meets Han Gyul (the leading male) who thinks she's a man. Because he doesn't want to go on blind dates, he gets the brilliant idea to hire Eun Chan to help ruin the dates. Later, his Grandmother makes him take over a cafe to help him grow up. He decides to name it Coffee Prince and hire only handsome males and Eun Chan is his first hire. At first only the co owner knows she's a girl and Han Gyul grows confused the more he becomes attracted to her. The more she becomes attracted to him, the more she wants to tell him but when he says he likes him better as a boy and makes her his sworn brother, things start to get messy.

I loved this drama because it was cute and fun. I loved all the characters, who gave great performances.
