Dark Side Cat

A fun, creative short animation about a badass cat on the loose causing mischieve in town, the reasons behind it gets revealed in the latter episodes.

Each episode you find the cat involved in different situations involving humans during it's rampage in the city, but inadvertently the cat ends up helping the humans in their given predicament.

There isn't much else to this anime, except its a quick entertainment fix that will bring a smile to your face, the funky background music is pretty cool. It has a total of 6 episodes, each 6mins in length so you can easily watch it all in one sitting.

Darkside cat is a strange, interesting show. It’s pretty much about a rebel humanoid cat that gets in trouble a lot with the law. In the course of one evening, chasing after a mouse, he breaks a fire hydrant, creates a traffic jam, and runs from the police. Now this show doesn’t really follow Dark Side cat but really what happens because of his interactions with the people of the city. He himself is always silent with the same ‘bad boy’ look in his eyes and yet there are times that he actually does seem nice, mostly to the cats around the area. Each story can mostly stand alone, having only Dark Cat to link them together except for 5 and 6 where they pretty much have to be seen together. It’s more talking about the people that he touches and not really about him. One thing I do wish is that we could get more info on Dark Side Cat instead of only hearing very little about his past in Episode 5.
The animation looks like it was created with flash, and its actually really well done as well in that nothing really seems out of place. They have really nice shadows and make them look perfect the dark night that is pretty much the base of the shows. My only problem is that in the animation, there is a character that seems like she would be a man character in the stories but she barely shows up. Action scenes contain a lot of speed lines and still images that seem like Speed Racer at times.

Dark Side Cat has an amazing storyline about a band (not the music kind) of stray cats and their leader Dark Side Cat plot and attack humans. Characters are DArk SidE CaT his band of cats, (depending on the episode) a reporter, a child, the mayor, a 2 child(s)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!! the animation is good. Not much music but when there is it is good! Overall it is a great animie for all ages! i give it a 5 star!

Dark Side Cat is a short, comic like cartoon. It's about an awesome cat that goes around town, escaping the law, the stray cat law. Not everyday you see a cat on a wanted poster, unless he's lost. Nothing really goes with anything, except the last few episodes. The music, I have to admit, is pretty cool. It's short enough, so if you want to kill time, Dark Side Cat is an amusing option.

I started watching this series with a lot of questions, like who did this, is he really japanese. why is a cat in cape ,etcetera.
None of those were answered since the series only has a short 6 chapters; but i have seen them all.
Still the "Mystety Anti Hero Cuteness" was pretty good and really humurus, it has somehow a conclution and it do tells the character story.
Over all i hope to see more of this

Dark Side Cat is a great work of art not only in concept but in its style. Making the short shows in the form of Flash Player, the exagerated movement and the cartoon appearance make the Anime very entertaining. Although there is little to no character growth between any of the characters, it still manages to carry good characteristics throughout the entire viewing.

Dark Side Cat's story is simple and unique. It is about a stray cat boss that does what he wants because he wants to. And now with the city mayor making a stray cat roundup Dark Side Cat is making more of a rampage. The other characters introduced in the story are barely touched upon, and the only real other character is the Freelance Writer, whom doesn't have a name considering her influence in the story.

Dark Side Cat is short, which is its major short coming (pun) but the anime really manages to make watching it fun expecially when the music kicks in, you just KNOW something is gonna go down. Don't look away from Dark Side Cat, you might think of it as one of your favorites.
