    Worth a look [light eechi]
When this show first aired it brought with it a ton of good story flow and originality, not saying it doesn't have any predecessors, but it did a good job. This is one of the first 20 anime that I watched and it still is something I remember 500+ down the line.

PS yes it should have been longer

    Oldies are the News!
The classic situation falls upon our protagonist in the most convenient way possible as if all the stars in heaven pin-point center aligned on top of him... (Yeah right)

With a bit of Ecchi, Comedy and a whole lot of PLOT this story is god forbidden for you to miss. The stars only align like this every million years, don't miss out! (More like ever Ecchi)

    Good but but not finish...
During my high school year I loved the manga and I got each one of them besides the dvds. The only down fall for me was the ending to this anime and I say they could have done a better job if they knew they were making it a short anime. They should have gone with a full 24-26 eps. But I still love the anime very much! Just brings back good memories! Lol I should re-read my manga again!

    Great potential, bad MC
DearS starts promising, the plot and the "Double plot", are all interesting or entertaining enough to keep me for a full length series. However Takeya is the worst MC he could possibly be, Don't get me wrong he meets the minimum standards for a main character, but then what about him is so unlikable? He is a huge A##hole all the time and then when he isn't we get a flaccid turd spouting nonsense ...

    Would highly recommend
Like most people I've seen a million different anime series. The fact that I remember this one reminds me how great it was.

Like many people I went into this anime because, well.... the plot shall we put it. This anime was so much more. I have a special place in my heart for anime from the early 21st century and this one is one of them. In this anime you have the unlikely hero who ends up ...

Goofy, and a little annoying, but ok
You keep hoping that the main character will get it. I'm at eps 7 and I'm like, "Why don't you understand the Master/slave relationship by now?" Plus, some of the gags are really over the top. The anime tries to have a serious undertone, which makes it confusing and intriguing at the same time.

  • This Melon Bread is a Little Stale...But I'll Still Bite
A friend of mine told me about this anime year ago, so when I saw it on here I had to watch it for her! Its very strange, to say the least. If you have watched Chobits, its pretty similar, but with more intense sex-based humor and in my humble opinion, less endearing characters.
The main character male (his name didn't stick with me) was for the most part, frustrating. He has a very abrasive ...

    Weak Ecchi with Surprising Themes
DearS is one of the first animes I ever watched, and it basically just involves a very generic plot and old animation about sexy alien slave girls. Literally that about it. It does have some subtle themes though, if you really look for them (though you probably won't be the type of person who looks for themes if you are watching this anime). These include things like building a relationship and ...

  • what an interseting take on a harem
It's a typical harem show, guy takes naked alien girl home and hides her from his childhood friend, who secretly has a crush on him. Add in one loli cat girl, one annoying sister with brother complex, a teacher more perverted than I and another DearS to play the role of miss prim and proper. What didn't work here Takaya never exploits the master/slave relationship here. I Don't mean in a Bill ...
