    Devil May you not Cry
Its DMC... you either came here because you've played the game and you said, "omg i didnt know this existed" or you've never seen the anime. Its great. Watch it.Though you'll either really enjoy this series or you won't. Hit or miss though, its bloody and follows its own unique story. Check it out.

    Devils Never Cry. <3
Makes me cry that there's not more Dante in my life It's also just the rain... Okay so I'm a major fan of this series except the DmC trash that Ninja Theory made anyway if you're a fan of the games you'll love this anime. Dante is love. Dante is life. I don't like how I needed a certain amount of characters to write this review and give it 5 red orbs.

  • I WANT MORE DEVIL MAY CRY!!
I love Devil May Cry, and if you love Devil May Cry then you need to watch this anime! Watching this anime makes me want to play DMC.
Call me a fanboy if you will, but DMC rubs me the right way.
I feel like a baby right now wanting to through a tantrum because it's only 12 episodes. I WANT MORE!!

  • Dante, the Dirty Harry of Devil Hunters...
First realize that there is an established timeline in the "original" DMC universe. This anime was created after DMC3 (game) which in turn is actually before the ORIGINAL DMC in the universe timeline (DMC2 is supposedly really far in the future or something and will probably never be caught up to/explained in any game/story now). So if you want a specific story order it is: DMC3, DMC (original), ...

  • It could've been more stylish.
The anime was the perfect chance to capture the game's stylish fight scenes in an animated format, yet the choreography is disappointingly flaccid in many spots. However, I am a sucker for Devil May Cry's universe as a whole, particularly how Dante's day-to-day goes whenever he isn't setting out to save the world for the umpteenth time. The characterization for the existing cast, particularly for ...

    interesting adaption of video game
while i never played the game. i will say that this anime is really good. that being said since i cant tell you if it is at all like the game. i like to point out if you take the name off. i think it a compelling story with thought out characters and a conclusion. now if your looking for anime and video combo that matches each other and builds on it try Gungrave on the PS2 a classic along with the ...
