Insane in the best way possible
This anime is a roller coaster from start to finish. With borderline hints and suggestions of beastiality, that might immediately drive people away, but the sadist and masochist relationship going on between the two honestly make me laugh. The characters are very diverse, humor is very twisted most of the times, and that is what I honestly love.

I really don't recommend this anime though ...

Serious premise thrown away for badly animated fight scenes and annnoying characters
Dog & Scissors had a very nice start. It was a little intriguing how such a tragedy could result in Kazuhito's transformation. It only took 2 episodes for them to completely abandon this premise, and switch over to fillers, in which they introduce a new character every other episode. From the generic little girl to the masochistic editor, these new characters rarely have anything of substance to ...

I should not be enjoying this
It's a fairly funny anime, apart from some mediocre characters and a lack of character development, it does its job as a comedy, but then I think about the romance part of it. namely between a dog and a human. Now, even if if we do glaze over the fact that's kind of super weird, nothing even goes anywhere, the female lead just being a overly violent Tsundere. its a show you can watch if you ...

The description's a teeny bit misleading...
Not in that it lies about the plot of the show. Dog and Scissors is definitely about a book-loving young man who is so desperate to read the final volume of his favorite author's acclaimed series that upon being lethally shot he is able to reincarnate as a mini-daschund to continue reading - as said author's new pet. But don't go in expecting any dark, Dexter-type misadventures of a murderous ...

    First Episode Impressions
Well, the overall concept is indeed interesting. The previews had me interested so I gave it a shot. I rather enjoyed the small amount of comedy it included, and I'm very interested in seeing what comes next. 2 small problems though.

Fun, but could have been more complete
This anime will give you some laughs and can make you forget about real world issues for a little while. People looking for a deep plot might not like it, specially if they take it too seriously. Although it starts somewhat serious, it should be watched just to have some fun. The characters and storyline still needed deeper development though.

    Very funny but boring
There are funny events on the show. It has complete tools and well-defined characters to make a fantastic comedy anime, the problem here is the sequence of the story and where the tools should be.
By tools I mean jokes, things nonsense, and everything that makes comedy a comedy.

    Lather, rinse, repeat.
Dog and Scissors. It's genuinely hard to say something good about this show. Even from an impartial standpoint. I understand that people find this show to be hilarious but the "comedy" in this show is so redundant. It's funny the first few times, protagonist makes fun of the female leads chest and she gets angry, but they do this stunt every episode (so far). The female lead is a tsundere, ...

One of the best crack animes
I was pretty skeptical at first about this, and the first episode had me questioning the anime but the later episodes are hilarious! A really good comedy anime plus some awesome fight scenes- yes please!

    Sleeper hit of the summer.
Honestly I was not expecting much from this quirky show, but by the end of the first three episodes I am earnestly invested in the smart mouth dog and sadistic owner. The banter between the two main protagonists makes the entire show a side splitting ride that will leave you doubled over in pain.
