    Funny and Awsome as Hell
Never knew that a human turned dog protagonist could be so hilarious probably gonna be one of my top favorite anime's. Don't underestimate the awesomeness of this legend in the making. This is little spoiler, the main protagonist is a big bookworm and his favorite author is the girl. Can't wait to see where this goes!!!

    Dogs and Scissors Rocks
I'll keep it short and sweet the first episode was hilarious! The characters seem funny and very interesting! I really cant wait to see how this series develops! The premise is also really original. The mc is an avid book lover who is shot protecting his favorite author (which he didn't know at the time) and his one wish is to finish his favorite series before he dies. So to fulfill that wish he ...

  • It's an Otaku Daydream
If you are a middle aged single man who loves moe, bossy women, secret fetishes, and/or S & M, this is for you.
If that description entertains you, it might also be for you.
This anime is comical. Kazuhito is a boy whose love for books lets him be reborn as a dog. His favorite author adopts him but turns out to be an antisocial sadist. Probably more compatible with male audiences, because that ...

  • Hilarious and worth the watch
This anime has its issues i'll admit. There is a lot of repetition and far to many loose ends......BUT fear not my friends, what this show lacks in closure, it makes up for in a hilarious plot filled with whimsical side stories/adventures among the way. Definitely would benefit from a season 2

  • It was okay, but not my favorite.
The anime doesnt seem to have a defined end or beginning to me, its just a group of stories of a man who is in a dog. It kinda bugged me that he stays a dog. I liked Natsuno as a character, and the whole sister arc was a bit weird. It was enjoyable, but I kinda didnt like the dog character. In the end, if you're looking for a short anime to kill time, watch it, but note that it isnt going to be ...

  • Disappointed, unfortunately
I really wanted to like this show, but I've stalled out on episode 4, right after

The first few episodes were not so bad. I liked the setup a lot -- the obsession with books, the link to the author, the vengeance, and the ...

  • Nothing but empty promises ..
I really wanted to like this story and I thought it would be more involved than random slap stick attempts at comedy. The additional characters that just fight each other for no real reason is also annoying. There is no grasp of context or plot in this series and the core premise of someone dying to read a book is never solved .. Don't waste your time, not much here besides a tsundere and a hermit ...

  • Didn't Keep Me Interested
It didn't really capture me at all so I am not really sure why I finished the series. A really meh serious wouldn't recommend. The love story is absolutely weird you would figure that this would have an actual plot to it but it didn't. It ended up being random skits of a pointless "story".

It's like an absurd Japanese take on Scooby-Doo.......except that it is actually pretty good.
Ok. There are a lot of anime shows out there that basically have their own comedic niche. Then there are other shows out that are just absurd to be absurd. That's exactly where Dog & Scissors is at. With a genre blend of mystery, and comedy. This anime starts out with a dark plot, then eventually it somehow becomes an outlandish comedy. Even the description is weird. A book nerd (Kazuhito Harumi) ...

  • Random, Cute, and Hilarious
I didn't expect much when I started this show but after the first couple of episodes I was hooked. The characters were amusing and I loved each of them. The plot was interesting and different. The Music and Animation were really good and didn't have any complaints. I would recommend this series for someone looking for a short cute and funny show to entertain them.
