  • It was okay, but not my favorite.
The anime doesnt seem to have a defined end or beginning to me, its just a group of stories of a man who is in a dog. It kinda bugged me that he stays a dog. I liked Natsuno as a character, and the whole sister arc was a bit weird. It was enjoyable, but I kinda didnt like the dog character. In the end, if you're looking for a short anime to kill time, watch it, but note that it isnt going to be ...

  • Disappointed, unfortunately
I really wanted to like this show, but I've stalled out on episode 4, right after

The first few episodes were not so bad. I liked the setup a lot -- the obsession with books, the link to the author, the vengeance, and the ...

  • Nothing but empty promises ..
I really wanted to like this story and I thought it would be more involved than random slap stick attempts at comedy. The additional characters that just fight each other for no real reason is also annoying. There is no grasp of context or plot in this series and the core premise of someone dying to read a book is never solved .. Don't waste your time, not much here besides a tsundere and a hermit ...

  • Didn't Keep Me Interested
It didn't really capture me at all so I am not really sure why I finished the series. A really meh serious wouldn't recommend. The love story is absolutely weird you would figure that this would have an actual plot to it but it didn't. It ended up being random skits of a pointless "story".

    What a great premise...
But this anime fails on so many levels.

This anime has such a greatand creative premise, book loving man is killed and somehow turned into a dog, and only his favorite author can hear his thoughts. They go out and solve mysterie together in order to motivate the author to finish the last book in a series so the boy can move on with his life.

But it gives you a bait and switch, instead of a ...

only for the one who want to try new
Hmmm..for those who like comedy or jokes about flat chest,a otaku fetish, sadistic tsundare and a masochist,The plot is kinda simple but this time it involve Girls and a dogs, the dogs was incarnated from a boy name Kazuhito who is die and become a pet to the sadistic tsundare author Kirihime..
The art and character development are simple, the art for character design was an overall consider is ok ...

The description's a teeny bit misleading...
Not in that it lies about the plot of the show. Dog and Scissors is definitely about a book-loving young man who is so desperate to read the final volume of his favorite author's acclaimed series that upon being lethally shot he is able to reincarnate as a mini-daschund to continue reading - as said author's new pet. But don't go in expecting any dark, Dexter-type misadventures of a murderous ...

    A Strange yet Funny Anime
Dog & Scissors has a unique plot with amusing characters which show their love for books; reading and writing which I can very much relate to as I am a huge book-lover myself. The anime cleverly uses light humour to depict more serious acts of overcoming obstacles, such as loss, being able to stand back up again when things get hard, as well as others. The relationship between the two main ...

Call PETA! This Show Is About Animal Cruelty!
I love my pet dog, dawg, but this show is not the best in the world, dawg. I have never been more disturbed by such a blatant display of ANIMAL CRUELTY in my life, dawg. I was about to call PETA, but I realized I was only watching a Japanese cartoon show... dawg.

    P.S.

    Yo my dawgmammu, dawg.

Insane in the best way possible
This anime is a roller coaster from start to finish. With borderline hints and suggestions of beastiality, that might immediately drive people away, but the sadist and masochist relationship going on between the two honestly make me laugh. The characters are very diverse, humor is very twisted most of the times, and that is what I honestly love.

I really don't recommend this anime though ...
