While Ohjus attack at the behest of man they loose control because of blood lust, however in the wild, they maintain control - like when the mother Ohju killed the todas who attacked her baby.

I for one don't think Erin is going to die. A big theme of this anime seems to be learning from history and moving forward rather than letting it repeat itself, and killing Erin off kind of counteracts that.

@Region: That's not Yuyan and her husband. That's Erin's friend from when she was little. The one who was poisoned. They believe Erin died when she went to try to save her mother, so that's her grave.
