Why did Erin's mother have to die? I understand a good story needs a noble sacrifice every now and again, but it seemed like they both had the chance to escape and leave that place for good. Very sad.

This is the second time I've watched this series but this episode can still make me cry. And I'm a man too. Damn it!! The reason Soh-Yon had to die will be explained by the green haired guy 20 something episodes from this.
