Just finished viewing this awesome anime! There are some unanswered questions, but overall--I'd give this a 5-star rating!! I think if the series went into 52 episodes--it would have addressed instances that left a lot of viewers baffled.

this is such a great series. watched back when it was still airing. and now watching it again. this is reallly reallly awe-inspiring. i really like the stories from this author.

It's rare to find an anime series with this much depth of story, character, and heart. Erin takes us on a journey of tears of both joy and sadness. The character relationships are among some of the most genuine I've seen, esp with her mom

This is one of the most put together, enchanting, and creative series I've watching in a long time. I really do wish that they continue the series, even a little. I hope La-Lu is the father, that would make me oh so happy. ERIN FOREVER! <3!

I really hope they do make a season 2. I want to see Ia lu as a father and, also, I've heard about the 3rd book, it's really interesting!

It's Magnificent. A story and a way of storytelling that's unique. I haven't watched, read or listened to anything like it. The story, the sacrifice, the ending... Truly magnificent.. Ia-La is the dad. There might be a season 2: books 3 & 4

Quite a lot of flashbacks in this :D, but still, it's an absolute brilliant anime. As many of the comments below say, this is one of the best I've seen.

At first I thought it was a rather slow and a bit boring anime..then I gave it a few more episodes,and the more I watched the more it grow on me.And I couldn't take my eyes of the screen at the last episodes. Strongly recommend it!
