    This is not for fans of the original.
    This is not for fans of the original.

    Sure, at first glance it seems like it's got everything an E7 fan could expect. Mechs, weird socio-political conflicts, crazy sci-fi stuff, awkward romance, and a coming-of-age story. It simply fails to develop any of these things with the focus or sincerity of the original series. AO ends up just being a confusing mess that seems only to exist by riding ...

    So I heard you liked Eureka Seven, now lets destroy the entire lore and science of that to pretend we have a new series
    So to start, the OG Eureka Seven was actually titled "Psalms of Planets: Eureka Seven". As such, a proper follow up title would have been "Psalms of Planets: Astral Ocean", which makes much more sense than referencing a character and the Special Operations Force 7 squadron who doesn't really appear in the show, which happens on an entirely different time arc.
    We skip from year 12,006 ahead in ...

    Orignal EO7 fan Here!!!! {Honest Review}
    well lets start,

    The fact is that this series doesn't do much for the original at all. the story of AO is decent enough,but extremely confusing and steps over its self constantly. I personal like the anime its worth watching, however don't expect the story to make much sense and don't be sucked in by the previous series commitment to romance, with a great story. AO is more like a crazy ...

    If you enjoyed the ending of Eureka Seven, avoid this.
    This ruins the happy ending of Eureka Seven. What happens to Renton and Eureka in this is a slap in the face to the original and frankly the entire show felt like a lackluster sequel. Hell, the only reason this isn't the worst example of a sequel ruining the previous thing is because Alien 3 exists. Just watch and be happy with the original.

  • Enjoyed it, wish there was more.
    It was a good anime. A story of overcoming. Never saw the first Eureka series but it was great. Like most anime's I wish there was more about the story after the main action is finished. Even if there was a plug a possible next series. Character development was interesting to watch. Seeing the characters themself develop of time with other characters was interesting too.

    Anime, chaos, drama, and suprizing jokes about anime
    Ya ya ya. I know there are anime fans that feel a sequel needs to meet their requirements to be worth watching. If you are one of those... Ok. Fine. (shrugs) But, if you simply want to watch fun, exciting, and yummy anime with good action, decent drama, jokes that break the 4th wall or reference another anime that may have inspired this one (cough*EVA*cough) sit back and just let this one take you ...

    People are upset over what they don't understand
    Everyone is giving bad reviews over the fact this this sequel doesn't follow up on the original saying the world is different and etc... they couldn't be more wrong and honestly i can see why they think its as its confusing but the anime explains itself if you watch it all.
    first off this earth is not the same earth from the original eureka seven, this is in a different universe and also in ...
