Eyeshield 21 Review- A must see (JRW)
Eyeshield 21 is a nice combo of football and comedy. Watching this series made me laugh every so often and also taught me a morale of teamwork sportsmanship and respect. Eyeshield or Sena is a very shy boy but when he joins the football team his whole world goes upside down. Sena is then a hero to not only the football team but to Deimon highschool. Why? Well because the football team is not very ...

    Japan's take on American Football
Eyeshield 21 is definite hardcore sports anime. Heck, its even sponsored by the Japanese NFL and received backing in the United States as a football series on a sports channel. And now,…don’t get turned off. Because if you do, you’re missing out on one of the most entertaining series people disregard just because of its non-traditional anime content.

Eyesheid 21... Is It Worth Watching?
I find that this anime is ok but it got so repetitive it drove me insane so I dropped it. I stopped at about ep 85 so I watched a decent half of it. And trust me, every time they went into a football game it was basically the same.

The Devil Bats (Sena's team) start off kinda bad since their opponent needs to show off their "special skills". And Sena is always so scared at the beginning part ...

This is one of the best anime I watched!!!
When I first watched Eyeshield 21, I stopped halfway of the anime. That was because I really didn't like the characters Mamori and Monta, but then I realized that maybe this anime has a chance. I gave it another chance and I have to say that this anime has great music, the storyline's awesome, and I love the humorous parts.

    Rising from the Ashes
The makeshift team of misfits; playing for the “Devil Bats” in an American High School Football game was wiped out after playing against the “Ojo White Knights” during the Spring Tournament. Hiruma, Kurita, and Sena—the weak non-assertive boy whose only remarkable physical abilities are his running speed and intense agility, which he obtained with years of practice—running away from the school ...

Good Story and Characters; Bad Quantity to Quality Ratio
Too Long; Didn't Watch. I found myself enjoying the characters and their development over the course of this anime. However, like so many other anime titles that extend in the excess of 100+ episodes, plot devices and development are re-deployed in the least subtle manner possible and ultimately make watching seem more a chore than anything.

Essentially, after episode 50 or so, I just began ...

    A Jewel in Anime Rubble
I was never a fan of football until I saw this series. The cast of characters and story really make you see anime in a different light.

After watching Eyeshield 21's fantastic character development and friendship, I find myself wondering, in each anime I watch, where's the bond?

    Your gonna Ya-ha!!!!
I must admit that it is like any other long series and ends up a bit repetitive. The series is easy to follow and I swear that if real football were anything like this then everyone would love it :3

It makes me want to get off my lazy butt and play some amer. football
