For those that have played the visual novel, this is a breath taker
First of all, Fate Zero is the prequel for an epic visual novel (later turned anime) called "Fate/Stay Night." The visual novel is truly outstanding, and I highly recommend getting it (requires Japanese game plus English/other language game patch). The visual novel (VN for short) was deep, dark, and moving. It was complex. It was extremely well done.

To my absolute delight, Fate Zero lived ...

    A new anime classic?
I'm completely new to the Fate series. I've yet to see Fate Stay Night, but after seeing Fate Zero my watching of Night will have to wait, BECAUSE THIS SHOW IS SO AWESOME AND I DON'T WANT SPOILERS BEFORE ZERO FINISHES!!! This show is great. The art is fantastic, the action scenes were some of the greatest of the year (or last year considering it's January), and the characters are interesting. ...

best anime around in a long time
One of the best things about this anime is the variety of characters and the animation. The reason I took to this anime so quickly was probably because of the quality and more mature combat sequences.

The characters really do have lives of their own and their revealed slowly which keeps your interest.

Definitely belongs to the EPIC genre!
This is one master piece! If you are a fan of the Fate/ Stay Night series, this is going to be the best of the best. Based on the light novels of the same name, Fate/Zero brings us the story of the 4th Holy Grail War. Here you can evidence all the details that make Stay Night also so epic. But this goes beyond that. The animation is really awesome, no point of comparison with the previous Fate ...

My favorite anime and one with few weaknesses
Fate/zero has always been a favorite of mine. Gen Urobuchi's works have always been interesting from a psychological perspective and this is no different. Fate/Zero is one of the best works about idealism, or more specifically nihilism, that I have ever seen. The characters are all beautifully fleshed out with no character getting too much or too little screen time. This is a marked improvement ...

Must watch for the action watchers!
This was great, time to watch fate stay night! The anime might be slow at first, but it picks up and the animation is amazing, this anime was amazing. I really enjoyed this series and hope that fate stay night will be as good as fate zero, Saber is life!

My favorite series and maybe your favorite series as well
I don't watch a whole lot of anime since I feel like the animation is not that good and the story is farfetched, but Fate/Zero was amazing. The story isn't 100% realistic but is comes together. The animation is godlike. 10/10. The characters you get so attached. The main storyline is so good that i'm at a lost for words. Give this show a try. I heard it was slow in the beginnning but after episode ...

Piece of Art worthy of Attention
I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like Fate/Zero before. For one thing, the level of maturity in this show is, as far as my knowledge goes, unprecedented so far. This show was meant to appeal to a mature, adult audience. The story was written by Gen Urobuchi, who I hold in very high regard, with him writing things like Psycho Pass and Madoka Magica. However, Fate/Zero tops them in my ...

    One Epic Masterpiece
This show is a well written masterpiece that shows the story of the holy grail war, seven mages and their servants fight each other to the death, it is dark, epic, enthralling, mature, and has no fan service. The characters have different motives and methods to win the war, making this a clash of ideology that makes a person think. Also, the servants are legendary spirits such as King Arthur and ...
