    This isn't Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night
Don't disappoint yourself in thinking its a serious spin off of the fate series.
This is a magical girl stand alone. With pretty much the only similarities being the cards.
If you're into moe, ecchi, magical girl comedies, you've come to the right place. It has all the qualities you're looking for.
If not, you might just want to move along.

For those of you complaining. Clearly. the fate ...

    Your Fate? Remedial Magic!
"Attention, please! For those of you who have never before seen--or those old fans who require a refresher course in--the magical girl genre, please prepare yourselves!" At least, that is what I keep expecting to hear while watching this series, which indeed seems to embody the entire genre. This one show covers all the bases: magical cards; magical gems; magical spells; magical beings; magic ...

One episode in and want more!
Other than the Fate name and the magical girl theme, I came in to this not knowing much about it (didn't watch any PV). I watched Fate/Zero, so I expected this to be something more like a Madoka type of magical girl anime (serious and such). I was surprised by it being lighthearted, and yet still not a magical girl show for younger audiences. Love the way the characters reacted to everything, and ...

  • This anime is surprisingly fun!
I came over to this anime after finishing Fate / Stay Night and Fate / Zero, expecting this to be quite girly and cringy, but in reality it is actually really fun to watch.
The characters are really fun and this series is very different from Fate / Stay Night and Fate / Zero in that this one is very much comedic-based but it still contains some epic fight scenes, making it all-around awesome!

  • True definition of Loli Loli
these characters are the true definition of Loli Loli. It's an overall awesome show, i really enjoyed watching it and it wasn't made to be like the manga. It was made with comedy and i really enjoyed it to be honest. It is a fun show and 7/10 i suggest it to friends. It gave me laughter joy and such. I stayed up all night and finished all 9 episodes during it. I just got hooked and that is the ...

  • like a typical comedic magical girl show, but has a suprising twist.
At first it was looking like a typical magical show with just Fate characters added to the mix. However, later in the series the action scenes actually got me interested to finish through. When the announcement for second season was announced, I went ahead and read the manga from there and found out there was a deeper storyline and before I knew it I got hooked onto the series so I'm excited for ...

Cute, comedic, don't take it seriously.
Fate/kaleid liner shows us an alternate Fate universe where, by a series of events, Illya becomes a magical girl completely against her will. Commence shenanigans.

The show is pretty silly overall, but that's what it's going for. While it's not particularly great, the show is fun and has some awesome action sequences and hilarious comedy throughout the 12 episode run. Definitely not a title to ...

  • A decent anime to watch if you don't compare it to the main series.
I totally agree with Anime_Memories this is a decent series and I really like the animation they are using especially the eyes.

I can understand why people are hating this series, but you have to bare in mind that this series is a spin-off and it more in line with Carnival Phantasm. If you like all sorts of genres of anime and have open mind then you will enjoy this series cause I mean i'm ...

Episode 6: Best Action Scene So Far - Second Chances? :D
I watched the first episode, can't say I liked it all that much. Eventually, a friend tells me to watch episode 6 (I dropped it after the second episode) so I give in and watch it. It starts out interesting. Literally halfway through now. Suddenly, I witness the BEST ACTION SCENE I HAVE SEEN SO FAR THIS YEAR! So, yea. I wrote this review specifically for episode 6. Had your doubts at first? ...

Tohsaka's dad is wailing in the afterlife for his poor Rin, stuck in this terrible show
If you were a fan of Fate/Zero, and follow Fate/Stay Night reboot, stay away. FAR, FAR AWAY. A show that, at first appearance, is a kids' version of the Fate franchise turns into a weird, pervy magical girl series. This is clearly marketed at some sort of 15-45 male demographic with social anxiety.

Why is it bad? A lot of things go wrong. First, the talking magical rods are about the most ...
