If its a parody, then call it "A Parody"
I won't watch this because of how much I enjoyed the Fate/* series. I don't read manga - I never was one for comic books.

Fate/* was rare in the Anime world because it really was adult. There were often dialog that I needed to watch twice in order to really understand the depth of feeling that was being conveyed.

The scene between Kiritsugu and the Holy Grail was very light in approach, ...

  • My friend warned me of this.
my friend told me the original light novel for this got in trouble because the main character touches child gilgamesh' peen. he told me don't watch unless I want police copters circling my house. I see from reviews so far that they haven't gotten to that point yet.

    They ruined all of it
This anime used to be exciting, cute, and well animated with a story that wasn't /dreadful/. But now it is just hardcore loli/yuri and all of the anything that I liked about it besides the good animation has been taken away. This anime didn't need to stoop to borderline hentai to stay afloat, it just needed to keep on doing what they were doing in season 1. I had cosplay plans for this, I ...

  • Love the art style, colors, full of MAGIC!
Eh, I just like whole idea of it, it is kind of like madoka but less serious ( more of a comedy style , it has its serious moments)i also love the art style and all the colors.
but do not compare it to fate/zero or madoka, they are different styles..

    Surprisingly Pleasant Little Gem
Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA ILLYA, not to be confused with or compared to Fate/Stay Night as it is a spin-off that follows Illya(Illyasviel von Einzbern) as she unexpectedly becomes a magic girl when "chosen" by the Kaleidostick Magical Ruby. A transfer student by the name of Miyu also transforms into a magic girl thanks to the Kaleidostick Magical Saphire. Together the girls battle ...

    Ultimate Magical Girl
While Prisma Illya is part of the Fate franchise, it takes place in an alternate Fate universe where things turned out much differently for the characters featured in the previous Fate series.

The show centers on Illyasviel von Eisenbern, who, through a twist of circumstance, unexpectedly becomes a magical girl. The rest of the series follows her life and adventures as such. While the show ...

  • Lighthearted comedy for fate lovers
Just a nice funny spin off of the fate series. You will love it even more if you read hallow ataraxia.

  • Loli Yuri Action Comedy and...
The greatest spin-off series I've ever seen, hands down.

I have a deep love for the Fate/Stay series, and this is no exception, even if it's a completely different thing on its own. It's great BECAUSE it's different. It's a perfect mix of all the things I love to see, especially the amazing action. This series is serious when it needs to be, but mostly it's a comedy that has more fun being ...

  • Another great anime to watch
Personally, I've never gotten into the Fate anime series so it's very interesting to see different versions of this anime told in different viewpoints and settings. This was the first anime of the Fate series that I've actually seen all the episodes so far while looking into it's other versions. My first impression that I got off this anime was that it was just a typical magical girl type anime, ...

    Know what you're getting into
Most people that expect some sort of deep, meaningful anime in the style of Fate/Zero are left disappointed. And while those sorts of anime are great, this isn't one of them. It knows exactly what it wants to do, and does it fantastically. So if you're expecting cuteness, well animated-action, a bit of yuri, with an actually decent plot behind all that, then you're in for a treat. If that's not ...
