Maybe, Maybe not. Could be good
The first episode seems interesting, from what I gathered its a pretty standard magical girl anime, it reminded me a lot of a hybrid between Sakura Card Captor and Sailor Moon (especially with the almost identical transformation sequence) the magic sticks are pretty funny and the characters arent annoying which is good, wait and see hopefully the story develops nicely

    Maybe Yes, Maybe No.
When I saw "Fate" I thought I would pass out from excitement, I really loved Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay night as well as the games however once I started watching this my hopes really went down the drains. Now the anime is well made, vibrant, good animation and its interesting to see the cast in weird roles but I don't really feel magical girls are something that should be mixed into such a brutal ...

Don't Expect it to be like Fate/Zero people
I read alot of the manga. This is a moe comedy. Not ment to be a sereous Fate title. I hate how people are already giving it 3 stars cuz they are comparing it to the same thing. Please stop. If you are gonna compare it to anything, compare it to Carnival Phantasm. Watch this if you like magical girls, ecchi scenes, lolis and lots of moe. If you came to watch Fate/Zero, please leave and go educate ...

One episode in and want more!
Other than the Fate name and the magical girl theme, I came in to this not knowing much about it (didn't watch any PV). I watched Fate/Zero, so I expected this to be something more like a Madoka type of magical girl anime (serious and such). I was surprised by it being lighthearted, and yet still not a magical girl show for younger audiences. Love the way the characters reacted to everything, and ...

Cardcaptors meets My Little Pony with a little bit of Gintama thrown in
This has melted the heart of my cynical teenage son so it must be magical. The graphics are lovely, the girls are pretty without you needing a bucket next to you and the funny bits are very funny.
Watch one episode, forget any connection to Fate/Zero and immerse yourself in adolescent bubble baths, half-naked step-brothers, very short skirts and heaving bosoms.

WTH why go ruin a perfect tittle
why do they use the fate franchise for this? If they give themselves a serious deep and moving image then why would they go build something complete opposite. If they going to make a anime like this then they make it using a different name not related to fate/zero.

    A different spin on Fate
So far I like this incarnation of Fate: Though I'm not used to the idea of it being a magical girl series: I can give it props for its attempt at trying to be lighthearted. As a fan of the Fate series, I would rank it at it being one of the more lighthearted stories( along with Fate/Hollow Ataraxia)

    Your Fate? Remedial Magic!
"Attention, please! For those of you who have never before seen--or those old fans who require a refresher course in--the magical girl genre, please prepare yourselves!" At least, that is what I keep expecting to hear while watching this series, which indeed seems to embody the entire genre. This one show covers all the bases: magical cards; magical gems; magical spells; magical beings; magic ...

Episode 6: Best Action Scene So Far - Second Chances? :D
I watched the first episode, can't say I liked it all that much. Eventually, a friend tells me to watch episode 6 (I dropped it after the second episode) so I give in and watch it. It starts out interesting. Literally halfway through now. Suddenly, I witness the BEST ACTION SCENE I HAVE SEEN SO FAR THIS YEAR! So, yea. I wrote this review specifically for episode 6. Had your doubts at first? ...

    This isn't Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night
Don't disappoint yourself in thinking its a serious spin off of the fate series.
This is a magical girl stand alone. With pretty much the only similarities being the cards.
If you're into moe, ecchi, magical girl comedies, you've come to the right place. It has all the qualities you're looking for.
If not, you might just want to move along.

For those of you complaining. Clearly. the fate ...
