    An absolute masterpiece!
This has to be one of the most amazing shows I have ever watched. It is pure art. First of all, the animation is absolutely beautiful. I love what they did with the rotoscoping, it made the show look almost lifelike. Also on top of that the backgrounds were absolutely breathtaking. The characters were also amazing. Really engaging and interesting personalities. The story honestly made me stressed ...

few people can relate, those who do will treasure it
I was just looking for a fresh anime to watch, randomly find this. The art style was the first thing that struck me, I don't think any other style would suit it though, the facial expressions convey emotion like a normal anime couldn't, this had me cringing to watch certain scenes as they were very awkward to watch...

the speed of the anime is very "all over the place", they go from slow ...

    Sir_Jamesalot's seal of approval.
This show is incomplete but still very good.

I thought the visual art was refreshing and the music was insane.
Every episode is loaded with suspense, for a couple of episodes the tension got to the point where I needed to force myself to watch it.

By far one of the most memorable animes I have seen in a long time

This is a rotoscoped drama. The story is very psychological.
If you are expecting giant robots, fancy boys wearing gloves, or swords that turn into big breasted females or something, this show lacks that.

It is actors that has been rotoscoped/drawn over. I like it. I want to make something like this someday.

Incredible story that is very deep. A bit too much teenage angst for me at times as I am too old for this, but otherwise it is very ...

    dont be quick to judge
I found myself going wtf at the artwork but the story was nice for a day marathon - not sure if I would have kept up on it if I watched weekly. Story doesnt seem to have ended by the last episode. Foreshadowing teasers. 4/5

    Intenso y cautivante!
Enorme recomendacion!

    Flower of a another name
When I first started watching this anime. I felt it was dry and a bit lifeless. But as the old saying goes you cant judge a book by its cover. Here you find that here. Its anime with lots of drama, twists and strangeness. It raise the question about the nature of evil and how that works. Also tugs at core of who we are and asks are we who we appear to be or is there some else lurking.

    A breath of fresh air
In an era of anime where slice of life and goofy 'moe' influenced shows dominate the market, we're truly entering an age in which everything blends together. Looking at a list of anime to watch, or manga to read, it's easy to find a sense of deja vu when watching an "episode 1".

    Enter Aku no Hana.
Rotoscoping is nothing new. It's been done, and quite frankly, done better. But for a serialized ...

Realistic and artistic without being pretentious, exceptional anime.
I haven't seen a show with such an accurate and real-feeling portrayal of humanity since The Wire.

I guess it's too pretentious for many people and if you aren't yet sick of endless Shonen/Harem shows then I'd stay clear, but if you're looking for something unique this is it. And the ending theme for this show is amazing.

    Social taboo's and great drama
Great art style and i love the attack on the social hive mind in this show. Give you a real look at what people really think and what they want to deny in there own minds because everyone is so judgmental in our society. Must watch if you're into physiology or what goes threw peoples minds.
