What is This? Why do I Kind of Like it?
It was much slower than most shows of any genera I have seen. The protagonist has sucky friends, but that is cohesive with the rest of this poor kid's life. Throughout the whole first episode I was thinking "come on demon powers, I want some dragons and robots!" I think there is some kind of magic in here, but who knows? The animation style was fluid, but not detailed, probably because it was ...

not that bad, but not gonna be best anime this season.
The animation style is unique, i personally like it a lot cuz its a change of pace from the regular animation style. The plot of this anime is really interesting if you like having you mind F***ed. i don't think there is going to be a middle ground for this anime, some people are going to really like it and some people are going to really hate it.Also i didn't read the manga, and its supposed to ...

It a weird show but i like it
i dont know why but i feel as if this anime is going to get somewhere.
Different type of animation style but it adds on to how much of a different anime this is.
I think that the anime is not going to be one of the best animation's i saw but i think it will be ok.

    This is just stupid...
Ok, I'm not even gonna beat around the bush about the awful character designs in the anime adaptation. Let's get to the crux of things and examine the story itself...

I decided to play the critic and marathoned 20+ chapters of this in the manga out of morbid curiosity to see what Aku no Hana fans were fussing about. After all that, I can confirm that this series is just stupid. Insanely stupid. ...

I really like it. Different and unique
This is my first time watching an anime with a different animation. I have to disagree with most people and I must say, it's great that they did this type of animation. Because this anime involves on a teenagers life in school. By making it realistic, they made the animation much more mature. As you can see yourself. Many people has given low ratings only because of animation which shouldn't be ...

Give The Flowers of Evil a Chance
I'll admit that the rotoscoping took a little time to get used to initially, I've grown to enjoy it. In fact, it does make more sense as far as the story.

In the manga version, Nakamura is cute. Even if she was socially awkward, the boys would ignore that based on appearance alone. In the anime version, you get a more realistic look at the characters and its easier to see why she is considered ...

Top notch anime- rotoscoping or not.
In spite of, or perhaps because of the rotoscoping, FLOWERS is one of the best series so far this season. The animation style lends a "real but not real" air to things that increase the feeling of dread and... existential ennui? that permeates the show. Character behaviors are nuanced, even for supporting characters. Characters that would be flat in other shows feel more real in FLOWERS. It's an ...

Reminds me of the film work of Andrei Tarkovsky
Per my review title: I love that this anime takes it's time. It enjoys the long shot (long sequences without much action or talking). It goes about it's business much in the way a lot of foreign art house moves of the 50-70s did.

The sound design is brilliant. I cannot stress this enough. The art, as I am sure you have read by now, is done via a rotoscoping process. I really like it. I've ...

aku no hana not an good adaptation
rotoscoping is bad for anime and the way it is written so dark gives it a Stephen King to the tenth power feel not anything like the magna. In the magna from the start you get a troubled youth feel to it, just a love triangle of three broken kids. there is the Japanese culture aspect of one bad mistake and your life is over in the story that's hard to get thru but its a good story. but the anime ...
