It may look like an ecchi anime but don't judge! FYI I was horny the whole episode!
This anime is actually amazing, from every bit of the art to every bit of the food. If you are not here for the food, then enjoy the ecchiness, but if you are here for the food, you won't be disappointed. Everything created is very created, and each character has its own unique story told by food, so enjoy!

FYI music is alo pretty good!

It Is an Echhi Anime But I Don't Care
    Adaption-Wise
Just a bit of background, the author/artist of this series was/still is a really popular Hentai Doujin artist before this series, and some of that carries over into this work. In the sense that the ecchi aspects of the scene do well to enhance the overall quality of the food reactions. The scenes are done greatly, and to hilarious effect as well where it's always fun to watch ...

    Battles on plate and pallete.
Warning: This series has nudity, sexually suggestive behavior, and blatantly sexual cut-scenes that make it worthy of the title of food porn. If Gourmet Girl Graffiti was too much for you, then you won't survive the first episode here.

That aside, the concept of the show is actually looking very interesting. The acting, script, and presentation have good flow with very well done ...

    Food Wars? More like FOODGASMS!
Ok, in all seriousness, Shokugeki no Soma is hands down the most genius work to come out of Weekly Shonen Jump in a long time! It's a cooking manga sure, but at it's core it's a battle manga. Think the anime version of Iron Chef with tons of food porn and people porn. No like seriously, there's a lot of ecchi and literal foodgasms happen. It's glorious, lol. And it even has an interesting and ...

Great Adaptation of the Manga. Now go and watch it!!
Just from the the first episode, JC Staff has done a great job with following the manga, and i think the pace is great as well. The animation and music are also of a high standard (in my opinion surpassing most from last season). I recommend this series 100%, and anyone reading this should start watching Food Wars!

Cross Ecchi with Gourmet Graffiti Girls...
You get this show. It is definitely an ecchi anime, but the humor is definitely top notch. It is funny in all the right places, and it makes a great parody/counter point to Gourmet Graffiti Girls. The first episode is downright funny as heck once you get past the "WTF" moments at the very beginning and realize what you are watching. Here's to hoping that this series will keep up the good work!

Food wars? More like Vulagr Wars
I went into this anime expecting to watch a interesting anime about food and cooking. What I got unfortunately was not what I was hoping. Honestly I'm still not sure what I just watched. Based off the first episode I would say this was a ecchi anime about the main male protagonist ability to cook food that gives people orgasms?

The foodgasms aside the animation and acting is solid and the story ...

I've got two words for this.
I read the manga and was very excited for this anime to come out. I was wondering how they would take some of the food reactions, as they were nearly pornographic in nature, and apply them in motion and color. Two words: Nailed it. I can't wait to see how different characters are portrayed and certain scenes to come out. I'm holding on to this one this season.

The Adventures of Soma indeed !!!
    First review:
Its very over the top , fanservicy and has a lot of annoying parts to it, getting extacy over food, not unless that food is a drug , alot of " what the hell" moments and "ok?" ...well I must be in a bad mood becuase I didnt find the funny parts funny at all , I
The only part I like was the scenes between him and his father...also Matsuoka san is the protagonist

    10/10 Satisfaction Garunteed
Its an incredibly well executed adaptation of an incredibly popular manga that's popular for a reason. The combination of incredible cooking animation and ridiculous reactions make this show a much watch of the season or even a must watch in general.

Its pretty Ecchi, if you can handle it, but its just to ridiculously hilarious to look away.
