I usually like to watch most series in pure Japanese without subtitles (for the sake of listening practice) but since a few days ago, the subtitles won't vanish even though I click "disable subtitles".

Can you please go into 'Video Preferences' and (I'm assuming it is currently set to English (US)), change it to something else then change it back or to -. This should re enable the feature.

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 4/20/12, edited 4/20/12 Hi there, well this one kind of bugged me and I couldn't find it in the "video playback problems" thread or the general help thread. I am getting ads on my anime now but have a years subscription that I bought a month ago. The video is still in the highest resolution possible but the ads are still there. For EX (Puella Magi Madoka Magica episode 7 is in 1080p but I still get ads at the beginning and throughout the episode) This happened today or rather at the very end of the day since I decided to watch some anime before going to bed and hasn't happened before. I tried logging out and logging in and that didn't work and my membership settings still shows the "360 day billing cycle next charge is on March 30, 2013". Thanks in advance for the help.

Until Crunchyroll expands that, the solution is to at least watch a few minutes of your least frequently watched series once in a while.

I don't have a membership or anything, and I don't log in to watch videos, but if there's some cookies or something... I don't know how these things work. It's just that I've been getting a lot of ads for alcoholic drinks and ...uh ... "marital aids", which is fine for me, as an adult, but I'd be a bit concerned if these were shown to children. Thanks

Also, what's the point of the thumbs up and thumbs down for a comment? You can't rate comments as spam anymore and the report feature was also removed. I liked the old layout better.
