Well, if you can view videos as a free user you can do the same as a premium user. By becoming premium, you will be able to watch in higher quality when available, and will view on the premium release schedule which is often a week ahead of the free release. You will not see any ads either. One thing that will not usually change is the amount of shows. I think I remember a couple of shows that are less limited for premium users but those are few and far in between. Becoming a premium user will not remove the region licensing restrictions, which is what I think you were asking about. I hope that helped clear it up a little.

well if you have their name then you can just type http://www.crunchyroll.com/user/NAME and it will go to their page. If you see them somewhere then you can just click their name. If they have posted in the forums then you can change the search from videos to "forum" and find them that way.

I recently signed up as a premium user but for some reason all of the videos I try to watch will not load properly. It will take forever to start up and then, when it does start, it needs to buffer every 5 seconds and sometimes freezes completely. Help!!

What resolution are you trying to watch at? and how much bandwidth do you have?

I'm watching it in SD and I'm not sure about how much bandwidth I have. How do I figure that out?

Okay well, if your computer can handle it, you should be watching in 1080p because your internet sure can. What browser and OS are you using?

Right now I'm on safari but I also have chrome which hasn't done any better with the videos than safari. My computer is OS X version 10.8.2. 1080p seemed to work worse for me which is why i started trying to watch it in sd. I just don't know why the videos are being so slow because just a few days ago I was watching My Little Monster with no problem at all.

Hmm, well you certainly have the bandwidth for HD streaming so I do no think that is the issue, but I have very little experience with OS X so I doubt I will be able to help you much. I am sure someone else who can help more with this will answer before too long. Sorry I couldn't do more to help.

I posted yesterday and went back and forth with someone who tried to help me but we ended up not being able to solve my problem so I'm just posting again so that all the information we came up with is in one post:

I am on a Mac OS X and I use both chrome and safari. I just can't figure out what the problem is and would really appreciate some help!

Thank you so much! That answers my question. :)

Also, I do have another inquiry - I apologize for all the questions, but I'm signing up for the premium anime membership. Does Crunchyroll take money out of your bank once a month, or each day? My mother is concerned so I just want to make sure. Thank you!

Ask all the questions you want. There are 3 different periods you can choose from.
  1. Monthly at $6.95 a month
  2. Quarterly at $19.95 per 3 months or $6.65 a month
  3. Yearly at $59.95 per year or ~ $5 a month
So whatever period that you sign up for, that is how often it will charge you.
