Well i'll give it a try anyway, if it doesn't work I'll find another use for it.

Well, I was waiting for someone who knew for sure to answer, but I am pretty sure it will work. I have used such cards in the past and made online purchases with them just fine. Make sure you register the card if you have to because that is what I had to do to use it online.

If for some reason it doesn't work for subscribing, try gifting a membership to yourself. I know that works when a payment method fails for a normal subscription (probably because it doesn't renew).

Don't know if I should be posting this question here (or anywhere).
How much of member proceeds are shared with content partners?

It depends on the series and whatever the contract stipulates. Crunchyroll talks with the anime studios and negotiates for a price that both sides can agree on, but of course they are not always successful in striking a deal which is why Crunchyroll is not able to simulcast every anime series that airs in Japan.

But basically, the "How much?" question can be answered as "However much the anime studios asked and agreed upon."

The majority of Crunchyroll's revenue most likely still comes from the advertisements rather than the premium memberships.

You should be able to lock and close it from within the thread.

On a matter like this, you should use the Contact Us form to contact Customer Service directly, is it is unlikely another user could assist you with such a problem.

By any chance did you cancel your membership? If so, be aware that if less than 30 days remain on your membership, you lose your premium status immediately. It does warn you of that when cancelling, but too many people click through without reading.

Hi! Just registered here, my friend recommended this site and it looks really neat! Just wondering if anyone knows of a similar site for non-anime shows? Kind of like the reverse of Crunchyroll, specifically I'm looking for a site where I can watch English TV shows (mainly American and British shows) with Chinese subtitles. I used to go to Tudou/Youku but now I always get a message that videos are only available in mainland China (I'm in Canada, btw). I've tried Googling the Chinese names of movies and found videos on random Chinese host sites, but again I can't play them.

Video services with English subs would also help! Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

This is a bit minor I guess.
But, I have a recurring payment set on my paypal account for the membership fee.
But it still prompts me to do the 14 day trial even after the 14 days have passed, I mean, I don't mind clicking it again and doing the steps.
But I don't want to be paying two membership fees for just me.
I attached a screenie.

It shouldn't let you do the trial again for a while, but you should be a premium member if you paid for it, which it looks like you did. Did you accidentally cancel your membership? You should go directly to here and they should be able to sort you out.

That was my first move, I went there last week when I had noticed that ads started to show while I was on my free trial period. I was hoping it would be sorted out by now, as I was looking forward to viewing SAO after work today in 720P. But to no avail. I didn't think of taking the forum route until, the first bill rolled through because a trial membership doesn't always state someone will stay, and I thought it wouldn't matter if i brought it up at that point.
