I have a question about the rating system for anime series (not individual episodes). If u go to the main page for any anime, say Kite Liberator for example: http://www.crunchyroll.com/kite-liberator and you scroll down, u can see the Average Rating, as well as how many 1's, 2's, 3's, 4's & 5 stars this series got. However, it doesn't display the total votes unless u click on the Read Reviews link located close to the Average Rating score, or if u click on the Reviews tab button near the top of the page. Anyway, once the total votes is displayed, u can see the exact score the series got overall. In this case (as of me typing this post), the series has 207 total votes with an average rating of 4.3 out of 5. Now, what I'm wondering is, where did those total votes (207) even come from? I was under the impression that in order to rate an anime overall, u had to "Write a Review" for the series. And as it stands now, there are only 8 reviews for Kite Liberator! How is that possible? Shouldn't there be 207 reviews for the series? Or did a bunch of them just get deleted for spamming/spoilers? But if they did get deleted, shouldn't the particular scores that each of the deleted reviews came with also get canceled? It seems like they didn't.

For another example, I looked at a more recent show: Flowers of Evil, and it seems they have 40 total votes with 36 reviews. So if I'm understanding correctly, 4 reviews were deleted then, and the 4 scores associated with the 4 deleted reviews still remain part of the 40 votes?

Secret bugs!
There's a way to rate a show without writing a review. We're working on that.

If I were to subscribe again for crunchyroll would the first payment be when I subscribe or after the payment period I choose? And I already had a free trial.

The payment date would be the day you sign up for your membership.

So, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but what's up with the Anime forum structure here:

Under forums -> Entertainment -> Anime, it only shows five shows out of the entire catalog as sub-forums, (and at least one of these, Vampire Knight, the show isn't even hosted here):

Now if I instead go directly to the Attack On Titan show page and click on the forum link there:

I wind up in a place, which sort of looks like I'm in the same hierarchy as the first picture, and it looks as though I should have been able to see AOT listed as a sub-forum in that first image, (but it wasn't there...)

Why isn't this consistent, where an AOT sub-forum is reachable (in the first pic), and how did these (recent) stray posts get here if this is possibly just leftover structure from a bygone era? And if it is just a remnant, why are there still five shows listed under Anime, but the rest of everything else is just a bunch of threads? Either those five should go away or all the shows should each have their own sub-forum (even if the only post in them is the loose main thread)...

This isn't really killing me or anything, but I like to see things be tidy, so it kind of makes me go "What the heck is going on here?"

What's more, when I click the orange Attack On Titan link to refresh the page (in the third image), similar to when I refresh the orange "Anime" link (from the first image), it sends me to nowhere land, with no posts visible to a sort of "empty" show page??

Anyone? Bueller?

I was curious, I gave out two Guest passes so I wouldn't lose them. Would they cancel for the people I gave them to, after they used them if I cancel my account? I just need to cancel my account for a week, due to having too many bills atm.

If they haven't been redeemed yet, they would become invalid when you cancel.

I don't know if the same would happen if they have already been redeemed, but I suspect not.

Also, if I cancel today and it's due tomorrow would that be too late? I wouldn't get charged, right?
