As you all know, I have a little sister fetish. I love being called onii chan, and adored by the imoutos I have adopted throughout my journey, though to clear things up, I actually have a strong aversion to blood related incest. I am offput by it immensely, but with step siblings, it feels so right, without all that messy genetics, the sensibly disappointed and shamed parents, and the implications of what may be an unbalanced power structure. You simply have two people, a male and a female, in the midst of the sexual evolution during their adolescence, being forced to handle their burgeoning sexuality, while living next to each other by sheer circumstances. That sounds absolutely wonderful.

To me, it feels like the convenience that often accompany the living arrangements in a harem, but with the loveliness that is only comparable to childhood friends, while best of all, including a relationship of admiration and brotherly worship, and doting imouto cuteness.

However, I question the incestuous nature, and the upcoming Hentai Council is deciding to review my case on whether or not I am truly into incest. Which brings up the question....Is Step Sibling incest?

I believe that the incest fetish is generally defined more by the taboo then the positives which I love it for, so it is possible that I am not into incest, but step sibling relations.

Imagine, having lived with your childhood friend for many years, whose rooms are located across the hall. Others tease you about what a cute girl she is, but alas, you feel no attraction.

"She is my sister you know"

"But you guys are not blood related, right?"

"I heard your parents were out of the country. Imagine, spending all night so close to her room. Amazing"

"You guys don't understand, you siscons"

That is, until one night when you decide to head for your shower a bit early, and upon entering the bath, you come across your stepsister undressing, her body toned and perfect, her naked figure being bared on your intrusion. You stare for a moment, before she kicks you out. You go to your room, and feel confused.

"But she is my sister" you mutter, all the while, unknown to you, your stepsister sits in the bath, blushing but with no discernible reason.

"Why did he stare...I am his sister, we are not suppose to be..."

Then the tale of love begins!

Tell me you did not feel moved by this sample. TELL ME YOU DID NOT! Tell me you don't want to experience a burgeoning imouto love, brought about by circumstances, enforced by feelings both repressed and explored, as you realize the girl down the hall, the one who knows you more intimately than anyone else, is the most attractive girl in the world to you.

The whole siscon thing was invented by guys who didn't have siblings.

(That's a near quote, but I don't remember the show.)

I suspect I have a little sister complex in part due to my older sisters, who did most of the child rearing for me.

Ah, that's right. Still, a questionable authority on what constitutes "sexy."

You know, I don't even know the answer to this.

I don't consider it incest, but a lot of people just consider it a convenient loophole.

But then the question is, what about cases like Domestic na Kanojo? Where you were in a relationship with the girl before your parents got married? What then? Does their marriage automatically make your relationship disgusting even though it wasn't a few seconds before? Does logic even really matter anymore!?

I'd say it makes the relationship 20% better! Of course, I would think that a dick move by the parents.

"Ah, our children are dating, let us marry, I am sure they won't get weird looks at school!"

Not sure if I should angered in that case, or pleased.

Technically, the parents would be committing incest? Is that even possible?

So what happened was the MC had a crush on his teacher, but he ended up sleeping with this girl he met at a goukon. Then he found out that his father was seeing a woman and planned to get married, and it turned out that the teacher and the girl were sisters... and also the daughters of his father's wife. After that it's pretty much a love triangle between the teacher, mc, and the younger sister for the rest of the series, while hiding it from their parents. It's not a bad manga.

The step-siblings of No Game No Life consider it incest. From ep 2 “I mean, I can’t go after my sister. Plus, you’re like, eleven! I’m a healthy young man, you know? I’ve got sexual needs!”

Ah, I see, mine was a reference in general though, since I would have thought most situations would have the parents know the dating lives of their children to an extent, but I see.

I always though marriage relations were weird, specifically with inlaws. If my sister in law is the sister of my wife, would that make my wife my sister...? And if my brother was her brother in law, and I am his brother, would that apply to me being a brother to her, or the relationship of romantic relations akin to brother and sister...?

Gazooks! I find the greatest justification for incest! Wait till I tell the world!

I think incest applies more to something like banging your parent, grandparent, or blood sibling (maybe aunt and uncles). However, I still would consider as equally wrong. Cousin ships I am a bit more OK with.

Ah, so the unbalanced power structure, like teacher and student? Well, I did not specify age, but I genuinely feel the same way when these factors are introduced, although regardless of blood relations.

Reason why I hated Chobits.

Mine was more in condemnation of those established over the formative years, but I suppose my original scenario does not exclude that in any case.
