I like the feel of a real book and for office space/once I'm settled (if that ever happens) I'd like some physical stuff

But traveling and having not settled yet, digital. Plus it makes looking things up easier.
And I'm a bit of a tree hugger.

Physical it can't be changed or taken easily also is more memorable as the covers and dimensions are different as well as that new book smell and I always chose to be able to touch what I own because it feels more like I own it and less like I bought a licence for access to it.

Somewhat counter intuitively when trees are farmed in an environmentally friendly way it is best for the environment as the forest stays under constant cover and not too much of a particular type is taken or planted it also makes the future of the woodland more secure as people are making money off it and more trees are planted than grown to make up for the failure rate they are also checked for disease, parasites and vandalism. Of course I'm not saying all operations are good but the world is starting to change in the tree plantation industry they are also not often planted in rows anymore and species are staggered typically.

sorry for being off topic.

Physical is easier on the eyes imo. Though, space becomes a problem sooner or later...

Physical books. They just feel better and read easier than digital.

Hard copies are great for collecting and lending to friends. Plus, there is something about the pages and all that jazz a digital book just cant compare to.

On the flip side, digital books are great for mobility be it just going out for a few hours or on a long trip away from home. As someone who likes to read a lot, digital books are invaluable for saving baggage space when traveling. Because if not for digital books I would be the type to bring a stack of books in my luggage.

digital books and things of that ilk when long can't keep my attention for long, so physical books it is.

I do love the feeling of a book in my hands, everything from the book smell to just having it. However, I don't mind digital because I understand the convenience of it. I've sometimes borrowed ebooks from the library if it's something that is really hard to get a hold of (and if I really like it, I buy it.)

But yeah. Physical books are my favourite.

Physical, only because I have never bothered with anything else for normal books.
