If it's a paperback I got at a severe discount, I'm totally a monster.

None of the above?

Few books are long enough that I cannot finish them in a single sitting. In general I can finish a book in 4-6 hours. So there is no real need to put it down.

If I ever need to, I simply close the book and put it down. I know where I left off, so going back to that page only takes a few seconds if that. That is, after all, one of the great pleasures of reading. To be able to flip through the pages.

So I guess I am a third type?

Wish I could finish a book in 4-6 hours. But when you finish a book that fast, are you getting anything out of it?

I'm too tired to care whether if it's a joke or not. I'm sure you can care less about how tired I am too.

Today just isn't my day.

I'm neither. I rarely use bookmarks though I do have one or two but I won't bend a corner of a page to mark my place. I either read when I have the time to finish a book or remember where I last read or turn an opened book face down (carefully because if not pages can still get damaged and hope the book spine is strong enough to hold out).
