Some of the other legal streaming sites are doing it, and it really makes the openings more enjoyable if the translation is right there while you are listening to the opening every episode.

I'm not the only person that thinks this would be nice am I?

That would be massive, in my opinion.

Some people may not care about OP/ED kara, but that is something that I really value when watching anime.

I've moved this to the Suggestions / Feedback forum. There are significant additional licensing and rights-related costs to do that, which is why I assume CR doesn't do it. But I agree it would be nice if they did start to do this more. As you say, some other legal providers do have these, so you'd think at some point it would be a matter of keeping up with the competition.

ANN's Answerman explained this a while ago.

Excuses, excuses. I think if the other legal streaming sights can do it for their weekly anime then crunchy roll should put in more effort. I'm not saying every single one has to have the subs the second a show starts airing, but what about half way through the season? Or even after the DVD comes out? Surely they could add the subs then. With what looks like maybe 5% of newer shows having subbed op and ed themes it seems like they are not really trying to me.

Yeah, I understand. It's frustrated to me too. I just posted ANN article, that is all.
