After Week 2 of the 2017 NFL season, the 49ers, Bears, Bengals, Browns, Chargers, Colts, Giants, Jets, and Saints are 0-2. According to ESPN statistics, just 12% of teams that started 0-2 went on to make the playoffs that season, compared to 41% of 1-1 teams and 63%.

Which 0-2 team will be the first to get a win? Which team will be the last? Will we see an 0-2 team make the playoffs? Will any of these teams finish 0-16?

Discuss.

I thought the Saints might do something this year, but....
Chargers will be the first team to get a win
The Browns will be the last team to get a win
The Colts might make the playoffs
The Jets, Browns and 49er's have the best chance to finish 0-16

I don't think 0-16 will happen this year. It's super rare (only been done once) and I just don't think any of the teams are bad enough to achieve such a feat this year. Even the worst teams end up winning 1 or 2 games accidentally.

I think the Giants and the Saints are the two most likely teams to bounce back this year. The Chargers will probably come close to .500 because of Philip Rivers, but they have no shot at the playoffs because of the AFC West is suddenly stacked save for them. I think the Colts could compete for a playoff spot if Luck suddenly became healthy and was able to stay that way, but without him I don't think they have much hope. The Bengals have a decent team, but also a history of under performing when it counts. I think they'll win a few on talent alone but still end up a few wins short of a playoff berth.

The Jets, Bears, 49ers, and Browns are all pretty equally terrible right now and the only thing any of them will be competing for this year is the #1 pick in the draft.

The Jets and 49ers could easily go 0-16, but I'm sure they will both manage to snag a win somehow by the end of the season. The Saints and the Chargers are most likely to end the slump the soonest.

The Browns will get that coveted first win this week against the Colts. 49ers lose to the Rams, Chargers lose to KC, Jets lose to Miami, NY loses to Philly (maybe), and the Saints at Carolina might be a tossup. I think Carolina is slightly better right now, but it's divisional and the Saints may show up.

I'm more surprised the Titans (remember them?) aren't on that list.
I don't pay attention to the NFL much, but I am from Tennessee, and I thought we sucked ass.

Haha, my family is in Nashville so I keep up with the Titans a little. They honestly aren't terrible, and they are in an especially week division. They are actually my pick to get to the playoffs in the AFC South at the moment.

I believe the giants and lions were having just too much fun Monday, but I rather like it that teams are trying to play, it's sort of a disappointment when it's one side or the other winning, however, when you don't like the team, and they lose, then it's a benefit.

My guess would be the Giants have the best luck to make the playoffs out of them. 0-16? Browns, maybe. They may get a win, dunno. They managed to last year somehow. Bengals are in their division and they seem really out of it this year.

I don't really follow football until the Bears make it to the playoffs (so rarely). I do know they are rebuilding right now, so I'm not expecting a fantastic season. I don't even think they've made a final decision on QB yet.

Nah none of them will make the playoffs or go 0-16, though I would like to see the latter happen.

Well I hope the Bears can get a home run on the 7th inning, maybe even go for a Bogey in the Birdie, though Im hoping for a hole in one from Jay Ruth.
